THIS is THE spot for wonderful Hispanic pastries, meals, and drinks! I first started going there prior to their move to Jefferson Ave. Just to get homemade soup for lunch.
Now I stop for soup, sandwiches, pastries, desserts, and drinks. Everything here is made here, so delicious! There is ALWAYS a line, but it moves fast. I have never tried anything i didn’t love! Owner is a wonderful gentleman with his wife. They are always there working hard and doing what generations of immigrants have always done. Working to make America a melting pot of flavors.

The meat-stuffed potato was undercooked and not mashed properly, leaving it in pieces. Originally, the stuffed potato was mashed well and flour was added so it wouldn’t fall into pieces when it was fried. It was in pieces and some were hard. I don’t know, and it was reheated, which is why it came out like this. Some advice could help improve this, and I’ll show a photo. Like the yuca alcapuria, it was super thick and so thick, so the dough wasn’t cooked properly. I don’t have a photo of that one.

This is a cute bakery. They do serve hot food which is out of this world. The best burrito I have ever had in all of the United States. Rice and beans are yummy. They also have lots of yummy treats too. There’s a parking lot also so no worries where you can park.

Oh man, this place is the number one reason I’m going to miss New London when I move back home tomorrow. The food here is so much better than you would expect just looking at the place, EVERYTHING I tried was delicious and the people make you feel welcome, they’re patient and happy to help. You definitely get the family vibe that almost doesn’t exist anywhere else these days. I’d give them unlimited stars if I could, I hope their success carries over and they’re able to expand and bring their magic to a wider audience because it’s needed in this day and age of mass produced, shrink wrapped, no contact delivery garbage we’ve all been conditioned to eat the last hours many years. This place is a time capsule and should be protected and valued at all costs.

Ok.. I was looking for a bakery. Not the type of Bakery I had pictures. 1) if you know Spanish it will help. 2) you like some pastries, but Spanish flavors and such, then this place is great. Its small people coming and going. Getting a fresh lunch sandwich or hot meal, this is great.
I would go again. It’s the local shop where everyone gets their meals and is welcome with a smile and welcome. Genuinely, not like hearing. Welcome to Moe’s.
We’ll be back. For food and pastries. We picked up an order up to go. But I felt welcome and at home.

One of the best bakeries around the area! The food is delicious and their prices are fair. It’s a nice mix of different Latin American plates. Being a minority myself, I am so happy that this business continues to thrive! Definitely recommend them!

The food is fantastic and the service is always friendly! This is one of my favorite places to go! We’ve had the chorizo tacos, chicken burrito, Cuban, empanadas, tripleta, pastries, and flan and everything had been exceptional!
