Ovation Bistro & Bar in Winter Haven is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxed, satisfying meal. The service was excellent from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which really elevated the experience. The salads were spectacular: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The meats, while cooked well, were a bit on the bland side and could have used a little more seasoning or depth of flavor. But the meal ended on a high note with their carrot cake, which was absolutely perfect—moist, rich, and full of delicious spice without being overly sweet. Overall, a great dining experience with standout service and amazing salads, with just a little room for improvement on the entrées. Would happily return!

My 1st time at Ovation Bistro & Bar. Very nice set up. Patrick was our server. Very helpful gave us some suggestions on what to order. I really enjoyed the Guinness Beer cheese it was my favorite and the pretzels was very soft. So ono (delicious). The pineapple passion was excellent. Mahalo nui loa (Thank you so much) for the wonderful customer service. And Mahalo (Thank you) to the staff and crew in the Kitchen. Best grindz ever. I will bring my family from Hawai’i here when they come to visit and tell my new friends here in Winter Haven to come on over and enjoy the wonderful food and customer service. We definitely enjoyed our first visit to Ovation in Winter Haven tonight. My French Onion soup was delicious, our crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had and my husband truly loved his prime rib. Izzy was a PHENOMENAL server and took awesome care of us!! We will definitely be back! Thank you to EVERYONE!!!!

Let me take you on… A JOURNEY we came upon this place by accident in search of the Mexican food restaurant next door (it didn’t look nearly as good, so we went here instead) walking in the atmosphere was already amazing. Dark, reserved, the bar looked fun, yet the place was classy. Izzy greeted us, and brought us to our table. He brought us our drinks and gave a detailed breakdown of the menu, the specials, and his favorite options on the menu. His suggestions were PHENOMENAL. The prime rib, the potato, the beans, the artisian salad were all just… I’ve never been more blown away by flavors in my life. I was full about 3/4 of the way through, but it would be dishonorable to take a prime rib like that as leftovers and subject it to a microwave to eat later, so i pushed on. Izzy, the man with the plan was on top of it with checking in on everyone and making sure we had everything we needed. I finished every last bite, Izzy brought the bill, and even though I got every add on I wanted the bill still was extremely reasonable. We are only down here for the week for our football tournament, but we WILL be back when we come back to Florida next season. Food 10/10, service 20/10 price 10/10 I can’t recommend this place, or that waiter enough

Honestly the best first experience at a restaurant I’ve ever. Our server was Izzy, he immediately greeted us and gave us multiple recommendations. Over the course of our time here he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He even helped me pack up my food and put it in the bag and took a picture of my boyfriend and I for me. Overall, amazing service and will 100% be coming back! Thank you so much Izzy!

While my mother’s friend was visiting from up north I decided to take the ladies out for lunch. In fact, we’ve visited this establishment every single year when we’re in Winter Haven. The food is always good and the service is as well. The bartender Patrick was our server and he was great because he recommended the French Dip Sandwich Special, which was excellent! The French Onion Soup was also very good and I know the ladies had a delicious lunch. We’ll definitely be back for another lunch or dinner before we leave in the spring.
