First off, the food took forever, and when it finally showed up it was barely even cooked right. You could tell it wasn’t clocked thoroughly at all. And the presentation? Straight sloppy. Looked like they just threw everything on the plate and hoped for the best.
Then the bathrooms… man. Outta control. Dirty, messy, no supplies, and clearly not checked in a long time. If that’s what the bathroom looks like, I don’t even want to imagine the kitchen. On top of all that, there was no heat. The whole place felt cold and uncomfortable, which just made the bad food and bad service even worse.
I came in expecting a chill night, but this place was nothing but disappointment. Definitely won’t be back. I’d recommend mud bugs not even 2 mins away . Way better
My companions and I all had a different burger off the menu The Works was my chosen burger and it was PERFECTION. The table was so quiet because everyone was eating, except for my son who had the tenders which needed some salt and moisture honestly.
I also had the fried pickles which were fried perfectly and hot. The sweet potato fries which are absolutely delicious as a dessert but I would not pair with a burger. I chose to eat mine without the marshmallow dip.
And the honorable mention is their Jake’s Saddleburn Pepper Sauce. I did not use it on anything but I did taste some at the table and it was so good I had to ask if there were some for sale. I couldn’t leave without it. For the spice lovers who are tired of regular hot sauce, their pepper sauce is worth a try. It’s bold and fiery, I never use sauce on steaks but the flavors of their sauce made me want to pair it with a steak. I definitely bought one.
*Also, get the cook on the burger as is, I definitely didn’t regret it*
What stood out most is that, had I not known she wasn’t the cook, I never would have guessed. The food came out great, and she managed to balance taking care of the bar while also making sure everyone was fed. That kind of effort says a lot about her dedication to the customers and the atmosphere here.
Skye really turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one, and I appreciate her for that. Thanks to her, I’ll give this place another shot and hope the management recognizes the value of employees like her who step up when needed.
