I came here to watch some football on a Sunday mid-day, was greeted by a wonderful waiter who recommend I try the rib tips and fries as it’s one of their most popular dish. Being from Texas I would say that its the closest texas style ribs tips that I can find in the area, would recommend giving it a try. Also if you looking for a modest place to watch football should also come.

Came in at 5:30, and the place was pretty dead. We ordered the “Super Sampler” for an appetizer for $13, and it was anything but super (see the pic). We ordered the County Bowl and were disappointed to see they don’t use real chicken anymore. They’ve started using fake microwave chicken patties now for their bowls and slicing it into thin strips. The service was the only thing good about our visit. Won’t be coming back.

Everything we got was good. Granted we only ordered wings, loaded fries and the chicken Alfredo. I will say the chicken appears to be the precooked, preseasoned chicken slices that you can buy in a bag a the store, instead of fresh, grilled chicken but im not mad about it! It was flavorful and tender. I did also add shrimp. Menu says add shrimp to anything for $5.99. Don’t fall for the shrimp! I would never add that again. It looks like the tiny, precooked salad shrimp with no flavor. I honestly would happily pay more for meaty, grilled shrimp. No biggie though. I am honestly not much of a pasta eater, but this dish is DELICIOUS. I want to go back there again before I leave to get it again!. Got it Cajun style. I would recommend it Cajun style with chicken. Its a generous portion, creamy and full of flavor. The Pico on top adds flavor and freshness. My husband got the wings, and they are delicious too. The ranch and blue cheese tastes made in house. The service was excellent. We will be back

Waited 15 minutes before being noticed, finally got a water….waited another 15 before a waitress acknowledged me….she was way to busy flirting with other tables. Finally got a menu….20 minutes later I ordered, food did come quick, but definitely not the quality chicken fried steak I’m used to. Now another long wait to get my bill….ugh. an hour and 40 minutes wasted on garbage food, terrible service.

First off, some context on my 5-star rating. If you’re looking for the best restaurant in Watford, go up the hill to HM. If you and a few buddies want to enjoy a couple cold beers and a decent bite to eat while having a good time, Outsiders is the choice.
Outsiders is the quintessential oilfield bar and grill – it’s loud, brash and fun. The wait staff is friendly and can be a little saucy, but they know their clientele and let’s face it, that clientele is the Bakken.
Currently your evening bartenders are Ally and Monica. Both are outstanding, but run a very different bar atmosphere. Monica (usually Sunday and Monday) is kind and professional and runs a bar that is a cordial place to enjoy a beverage. Ally (Thursday-Saturday) at this point is pretty much a Bakken legend. Both can mix a drink with the best and absolutely will send you down the road glad you were there.
Food at Outsiders is appropriately priced and is good value.
My favorite choices on the menu are:
Ribeye- nice value and a good piece of meat outright.
Texas Jalapeño Burger
Wings- buffalo sauce, Cajun dry rub and lemon pepper all are good choices
Street Tacos – a great way to get some food in your stomach while enjoying a cold beer
Specials- Darlene (the owner) puts a lot of care into these specials and they don’t disappoint. Friday night special usually is a surf and turf that’s a nice way to wrap up a week.
Outsiders has a cordoned off family section which is a little less loud. That same section also can be used to throw private parties. A good friend had his 60th birthday party held there and it turned out very well.
I have been a regular for years and always feel like family when I come in. I just ate there this afternoon and look forward to the next time I can eat there.
All in all, Outsiders is my favorite place to go out.

Really disappointed with my take out order tonight. Ordered a club sandwich and got a sandwich with lots of ham and melted Swiss, the bread was also a soggy buttered bread. I called and asked if there were changes to the club sandwich or maybe even a mix up with orders. She said there’s been no changes but this was more like a hot ham and Swiss but she offered no solution. I drove 15 minutes to get it and spent 30.00 just to toss it out.
