Best beef rib I’ve ever had! The meat was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and the BBQ rub on the outside was deeply flavorful and perfectly balanced.

The mac ’n’ cheese was just as impressive. Made with conchiglie pasta, the shell shapes captured the melted cheese in every curve and crevice, delivering a rich, satisfying bite each time.

Great beer selection, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff rounded out the experience beautifully. A truly memorable meal from start to finish.

Hands down the best bbq I’ve had in recent memory. The brisket and jalepeno cheddar sausage are a must-have, and the street corn and corn casserole were also amazing. Not sure I have room for dessert, but I really want to try the banana pudding. 10/10, would absolutely pay them a visit.

Fabulous!!! Took my husband here yesterday for his birthday and he said it was “everything he hoped for!” Big shoutout to Morgan and his staff for making us feel so special and sitting down with us to let us know what they could do with the menu. So welcoming!! We got a bit of everything! It was all amazing. My favorite side was the street corn. Great atmosphere, staff who really care and make you feel like family especially when you tell them that you’re there for a special occasion, and food that is just terrific and mouth watering!! We’ll come back soon!!

Nice BBQ place.
Laid back atmosphere with tasty food. BBQ basics that are well executed. I love the meats, which were great, but the sides are the real test for me. I had a really good corn pudding and banana pudding. All around great food that speaks well for the rest of the menu.
Indoor and outdoor seating gives a relaxed, homey setting. Nothing fancy, but it’s totally appropriate for the style they’re going for.

I did a take out of half a pound each of brisket and pork ribs. They were both soft, tender and full of flavors. I also got a serving of Mac and cheese which was pretty good. I liked the place as well but the queue moved very slowly as they only had single open counter open. They had a nice outdoor seating with fireplace on each table so that is good.

Ordered delivery. Pulled pork sandwich didn’t include bbq sauce and was dry (including the dry bread). Mac & cheese was way overcooked and mushy. Not even sure there was cheese in there. Street corn was totally inedible. Extremely gross. It went down the garbage disposal. The worst was the banana pudding with rotten bananas and pudding that was so dry and old that it had a crust and stood up! What a waste of $68.

I really lucked out apparently and decided to go on the first day they expanded their menu???

Turns out that bbq lamb and pomegranate glazed pork belly are actually divine experiences..

I ended up only able to eat about half of this and am very much looking forward to eating the rest later tonight~

Also the entire staff are so nice and helpful ❤️ lamb was a recommendation and very glad I tried it~

I had the pleasure to have lunch here yesterday, and I am still thinking about how good the platter was. I had a little bit of most of the hits, and it was a great introduction to what they are capable of. Easily the best barbeque I had this whole year. The brisket, ribs, and pulled pork were moonshot, last meal good. All the sides were tier 1 comfort food, with distinctive flavors and love baked in. The beet based hot sauces were likely top 3 lifetime sauces I’ve ever tasted.

The hype about this place is real. Great job, Outsider!

Another update: finally made it in person. Excellent service, crispy Coke, and the best beef BBQ in Seattle. Had the beef rib special and grabbed some extra beef brisket for the weekend. Excellent, just excellent.

The warning is fair that parking will take some planning; you’ve been warned, it’s worth the effort.

Update: made it back to get some of that brisket after reading more reviews… oh my YUM. Brisket has the KC BBQ stamp of approval. Can re-confirm that the yellow BBQ sauce slaps and is super yum with the brisket. Still not super big on the sides here… tried the corn casserole this time (was better than the prior two I tried); hoping to try the kale Caesar salad next.

5 stars – brisket, yellow BBQ sauce, pickles
4.5 stars – jalapeño cheese sausage
3 stars – sides

Also pro tip if you order direct from their website, you can get partial pounds of meat for delivery and pickup unlike DoorDash, uber eats, etc. that require the full pound.

Highlights for me are the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage (very yummy) and yellow BBQ sauce (would slap so hard on some pulled pork). Pickle assortment with meat was also very yum (some standard pickles, onions and jalapeños. Sides were both ok but not standouts for me. Mac&Cheese was not where I prefer texturally, Potato Salad was definitely an original interpretation (appreciated the fresh herbs and spices) but would have preferred a tad more salt and cook on potatoes. Excited to order again and try the other BBQ meats.

We were a fan of Onur’s BBQ since we tried it at his food truck. We couldn’t stop raving about it afterward. When he decided to do a Kickstarter to set up a brick and mortar, we were early backers, and happy to support him in his dream. Now the dream is a reality and is such a fantastic vibe on top of the amazing food, we can’t recommend it enough. We love BBQ, and we say without reservation, this is the best BBQ Seattle is serving up, and you gotta try it.

You can tell that Onur really loves and cares about what he is doing, and his staff reflect his love and care in every step of it. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and helpful, and every dish is fantastic. Get the sides. You think the BBQ is amazing, the sides are keeping pace. I love the lemon poppy slaw best of all, my partner the “street corn”.

Do not restrict yourself to one thing. Get a sample of many. The brisket particularly blows my mind. It is so richly flavored, and the smoking process makes it melty like a pizza stretch test.

I am not a sportsball or country music fan, so the soundtrack of our Sunday afternoon was not my jam. That said, as a Seattle gal, I love the indoor-outdoor pub vibe, and I will not hold a sports and country music love against a former Texan. Even if he is originally from Turkey, he was steeped in those juices a long time, and it suits the BBQ theme in any case.

We brought home our giant brisket from our Kickstarter reward and held a spontaneous brisket happy hour at our house for friends and neighbors. All agreed it was some of the best they ever had. We used leftovers in quesadillas and chili. Every last morsel was adored.

Go; you will not be disappointed!!
