Outrigger Bar & Grill is a classic dive bar with a relaxed vibe Burgers are tasty, but might be over-seasoned for some Great spot to grab a beer with friends or lunch, but not ideal for family dinner Staff’s super friendly & attentive, though! Lots of regulars & older crowd hanging out at the bar. Perfect spot to unwind, just don’t expect upscale vibes #OutriggerBar #GalvestonSpots #DiveBarVibes

We love this place! That lazy river shack vibe comes alive after dark. Last night was great Karaoke (Friday). We usually do lunch. Original owners granddaughters behind the bar. One of the least expensive places we truly enjoy

I got a bacon cheeseburger basket to go. It was a decent burger, nothing special that would make me a repeat customer. The bartender was welcoming.

The burger was amazing. Bartender Rita was prompt, and correct in everything.

This is a sit-down-and-chat type of place, very informal, and extremely friendly. I highly recommend it for a quick bite, or a few drinks with friends.

I’ve only been twice for the burger as I don’t live here, but I made sure to come back every day that I’ve worked in Freeport.

If I ever have work down here again, I will certainly come back a third or even fourth time.

Stopped in here on a trip to Galveston. Hidden gem Vibes of Jimmy Buffet’s “Bama Breeze,” Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar,” or Kenny Chesney’s “When I See This Bar.” A genuine spot with cool people, cold beer, and good food. Buffalo shrimp sandwich was delicious!

Recipe for a good time: bartenders and cook are really tops. Service was upbeat, prompt. The cooking was impressive – even the veggies were perfect: Little bitty crunch at first bite and lighty spiced.
Grilled combo: Well prepared, not greasy. Shrimp got that pop when you bite down, fish flaked and was lightly spiced, hush puppies reminded me of falafel.
Amusing atmosphere with deck, view of the shipz along the Brazos and a huge open yard out back. Nice folks.
Highly recommended.

Carlee was an awesome waitress. My grilled fish was light, fluffy and flavorful and my husband enjoyed his burger.
