Amazing little restaurant in Hanksville, UT. Very friendly, helpful staff. Options are basically burritos, burrito bowls and tacos. You can pick your protein in and get four different fillings and then a couple of “drizzles” that are delicious. Seating is both inside and a small patio out front overlooking the mountains. Definitely recommend!

Decided to switch it up from our usual after Powell ride home spot and try the roost. Glad we did. Might be our new spot. Great location on the right side if you headed home. But let’s not get sidetracked. The food was fresh and refreshing. The tacos were delicious as I got one steak and one pork. Highly recommend getting the pineapple salsa on any of the dishes you get. It is the bomb. The chips and salsa are great too. We will be back

While looking for a lunch spot after a long drive we came across Outlaw’s Roost and decided to try it out!
We were greeted so nicely by the owners and got all the information we needed to choose our meal. We put together our own burrito’s and some taco’s. Delicious! Everything is made with fresh ingredients and tastes absolutely amazing!

We went and tried the Outlaws Roost upon a recommendation from the boat inspector at bullfrog lake Powell. So we took our boats to the boat decontamination center in Hanksville and left them with a driver and went over here and ate. The burritos were delicious nice fresh flavors with great sauces. The tacos were also very tasty. The service was fast and friendly. I would come back here again on the way home from Powell. If you are in the mood for something different than a burger fries and shake. Go to the outlaws roost.

Great stop after a day of fun at Swingarm City. Really kind staff making burritos and tacos fresh as you order. Really enjoyed my build your own steak burrito, and the selection of hot sauces really elevate the burrito to greater heights! It’s nice and cool and really clean too!

The build-your-own burrito option was incredible! I made a chicken burrito that was absolutely perfect. Their corn relish and Jackamole sauce are must-try toppings, and the sour cream was the perfect finishing touch. Every bite was bursting with flavor!

This is such a cute, one-of-a-kind store with a unique atmosphere. The location next to an equally unique gas station adds to its charm and makes it a fun little destination.
Worth Every Penny
My burrito came out to $14.86 after tax – just a couple dollars more than Chipotle, but significantly better tasting! It’s definitely worth the slight premium to support a local business rather than a big chain.

All the staff were incredibly passionate about their food and eager to help. People would regularly stop by my table to check if everything was tasting alright – that level of customer service really enhanced the whole experience.

Driving Deveros
We’ve been on the road for months and spent about a week in Hanksville, and this is by far one of the best restaurants we’ve come across! We actually stopped here multiple times, and the margs, chips and salsa, tacos, and all other food we tried was delicious. We told them the protein and let them build out the tacos, and the pork with pineapple salsa and whatever else they put on it was phenomenal. Sitting on the patio also gives you amazing views looking out. Even if you’re just passing through the area, stop here to eat, it’s well worth the time!

After a long day of driving, we stayed in Hanksville for the night and tried Outlaw’s Roost, delicious!!! the staff was incredibly friendly and fun to talk with, restaurant was very clean but the food was delicious! My husband went back and got another burrito later at night because of how good it was. The food was fresh and flavorful!

What a gem! Margaritas are perfect (they have the only liquor license in town also), food is freshly prepared using nothing frozen and it’s such a cozy atmosphere! Staff is very welcoming and friendly and even split our rice bowl for us without us asking. The pineapple salsa and chipotle cream were our favorite toppings! Be sure to stop here if you’re in the area!!

Tasty place to stop and get some eats! We had the build your own burritos as they were out of tacos. We had a decent sized group and the food came out quickly. The chips and salsa was tasty too. They sell T-shirts, and have some cool maps of the area on the walls. The front stairs are steep, alternately you can use the side but there is a steep slope if you park out front.
