Atmosphere was super cool, the wooden shingles were fun to read. The place was popping. I got the ribeye and wish it had a little more flavor than what it did. Wife got the filet and ordered it medium but it was a little more medium well.
Beautiful piano music though which was nice! And the fresh bread hit!

Came here with my husband. We chose 3 places and said we would eat at whatever one we spotted first and I am so glad this is the place we ended up. We actually came in 30 minutes before close without realizing when they closed. I was ready to turn around and find a new place (as a previous kitchen Manager I hated when people came in around closing time), but our waiter insisted we stay as long as we were good with the brunch menu. Works for us! The restaurant was dead (as expected), but they were so kind to us and reassured us we were okay to be there. I even tried to just order our food to go, but he insisted we weren’t a bother. Our food was amazing! I got the fried chicken sandwich and my husband got the prime French dip. To say we were impressed is an understatement. You know the food is good when you go for a date, but dont even say words to eachother because your mouth is always full. Literally the best dining experience we have ever had.

Sat outside to people watch and enjoy the view. Service was great, food fantastic and there was live music indoors too. We shared the lamb chops and a Greek salad. All delicious, prepared well and the meat was cooked exactly as requested. Can recommend with no hesitation. Enjoy!

Nestled in the western slopes of Colorado is “America’s Switzerland” better know as Ouray. In this quiet and quaint mountain ⛰️ mining town is the Outlaw Restaurant. Susana, was our waitress and she was AMAZING. The restaurant itself had a saloon like feel, and it was Colorado’s version of Deadwood, SD. We were drawn in by the ivory tickling of the establishment’s piano man. The food was 4.5/5 with the clam chowder lacking sufficient clams and it not being thick enough for an actual chowder – more like a soup. The FRESH BREAD was amazing . For the price we paid they could have served the salad dressing in a ceramic container, instead of a plastic one. We ordered the Wagyau Ribeye. The mashed potatoes were on the thicker side, the vegetables were perfectly seasoned, and there was no bone in the 14 oz. steak, which means you got the full 14 oz.! They do charge a 3.5% credit card fee, but they did offer a 10% MILITARY DISCOUNT. I am glad we went, but do what you need to do in Ouray first, because they roll the streets up early in this small town.

Restaurant was good, listening to the piano was a plus. Made for a fun atmosphere. We got the prime rib and the Scottish salmon. Both were good. The bottom of my salmon was burnt to a crisp; my husband likes eating the skin. The vegetable medley through me when it had bell peppers in it. I think if it didn’t it would be better! The garlic mashed potatoes were okay, could have had a little more flavor. Overall it was a good experience.

We had a delicious meal here during their Sunday Brunch. The food was delicious and the serving size was hearty. Great service and we always had a fresh cup of hot coffee. Cute little restaurant with a lot of history. Would definitely recommend. We will be back to try their dinner menu soon.

Our meal was great but a bit pricey. The steak was cooked great and tasted great. Loved the mashed potatoes not so much the fires. But overall very good. Get there early or make a reservation, it filled out fast. The piano player was really good.
