Always a good choice and one of our girls’ favs. I tried the beef tips and roasted shishito peppers for the first time and I think it might be one of my favorite dishes down here! I could eat a platter of these shishito peppers. Kid-friendly options make this an ideal place for our family.

This was the first brewery we visited during our stay in Kill Devil Hills. Great choice…loved the outdoor seating with live music. Enjoyed the beer too. The food wasn’t bad either.

This was our favorite restaurant we went to on vacation and in fact we ate dinner here twice in our week there. My husband is vegetarian and in general the Outer Banks is not the most vegetarian friendly place to eat. He had multiple options, including a homemade veggie burger, a beet salad, jalapeño cheese curds, etc. The staff is all friendly and nice. And the backyard is the icing on the cake. Large outdoor seating area with picnic tables, a pirate ship playground, live music, and allows dogs. We will definitely be returning on our next vacation.

Came with the wife, two young by kids under 4, and our big dog. We had an excellent experience! Super family oriented and very friendly, casual vibes. The huge outside area and play space for kids makes this the perfectly food stop. Will come back whenever we past through! But the way the FOOS was SO GOOD. Holler are the motz sticks, 11/10!

We come here every time we’re at the outer banks! We love it. Cool atmosphere and the service is great!!! The best thing I had today was the lobster bisque. I had the yard bird and my wife had the fried shrimp and we split those 2 items. The yard bird was great as always. The fried shrimp was ok. I wish it was served with cocktail sauce instead of the white spicy sauce it came with.

Great place outside to sit with our pup. Hubby had the fish and chips and a beer and enjoyed it. Bonus, they have a gluten free menu, but cross contamination is still possible. Really enjoyed it. Jacob was our bartender and he was awesome.

By far our favorite meal during our stay on OBX. Handicap accessible, delicious food. We had the skirt steak Caesar Salad (enormous portion of steak!) the jalapeño cheese curds, crab and shrimp dip, buffalo wings, and scallops with risotto. All highly recommended!!

Better than Swela’s on so many levels. Bars, lol.

Really friendly service. Beer prices were easier on the budget (and you didn’t have to ask for prices). Very high quality craft and the food creativity was amazing. Lunch special would be easy on the budget while also being very gourmet. Quite a few locals were here and you can see why. Great atmosphere.
