We ordered hummus and pita, a couple of Hazy IPAs, and some water and sat at the bar. The hummus and pita was honestly delicious. It was super fresh, and the bread was incredible fluffy and well-made. The hummus was creamy, flavorful, and the portion was on point.
I’ll need to come back sometime soon to review more menu items, but I’ve started taking this spot seriously. It’s really good.
We got there around 6:45 pm on a Wednesday and they were steadily busy, the pizzas looked amazing on tables as we walked by! We ended up all going with fish.
Being a Wednesday, they had wine and pizza specials -we didn’t even know! So check out their daily specials on food &/or drinks!!! We shared a J Lohr Cabernet, very smooth, not dry, hint of sweet but not overly.
Hubby- Fish & chips; nicely breaded, good firm fish (think it was cod), good flavored & tasty tarter sauce, perfectly crispy fries.
Friend- Grilled Salmon Dinner with steamed veggies & basmati rice, veggies were a bit al dente however very fresh with a very good earthy flavor, rice was ok, regretfully her fish was a bit fishy/not as fresh, over cooked, and under seasoned…needing a side cup of the vinaigrette that came with the salad. She ate about 1/2 of it and then couldn’t continue.
Me- Mahi Mahi burger & greek salad; salad was super fresh & loaded with feta, olives, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, & red onions -it comes with a slightly sweeter thick vinaigrette which wasn’t bad; the buns were toasted, loaded with pickles, sliced tomatoes, red onions, lettuce, a generous spread of tarter sauce, & a good sized portion of Mahi Mahi…the Mahi was a bit over cooked however seasoned well and still very tasty.
Staff were nice, did frequent check ins and were quick with any requests (the extra dressing).
Everything seemed to be frozen except for the Calzone. The Cajun pasta sauce was pretty thin and flavorless as was the chicken in the dish. The burger patties seemed frozen and everything was slipping out of the bun. I’d say the highlight of the meal was the French fries and the Calzone. We probably won’t go back. Prizing is pretty high for the quality of food.
