I ordered the Kingsland pasta. The serving was too small for the $28 I paid for the dish. Barely felt full. The complimentary warm bread with whipped honey butter was good. Average experience. My card was declined but worked after using other cards. Not sure if I will come back.

We haven’t been to Outback in years, and went for our birthday date. So impressed. Our server was fabulous, she was knowledgeable and just the right amount of attentive. The coconut shrimp appetizer was mmmmmm!! Steak was tender, side dishes were excellent and the blackberry martini was something I’d definitely go back for.

I’m a huge fan of Outback for a chain restaurant where you can always know what you’re getting and for what price.

I love the Aussie cheese fries and almost always get them, which is kind of sad because the blooming onion is also really good!

For steak, I like to go with the filet, cooked medium. And their house salad is one of my favorite restaurant salads.

The Caesar salad was crisp, clean, and fresh with a nice flavor. It was more of a non-traditional Caesar with a hint of smokiness.
The bread was wheat and fresh and soft, served with butter—not quite Texas Roadhouse roll caliber but they were free and fine.
The mashed potatoes were traditional, with skins. The macaroni and cheese also had some smokiness, topped with breadcrumbs and chives. The steak was cooked medium rare, pretty accurate, though maybe just a touch more on the medium side. It had a very thick crust, a little too charcoaly for my taste. The ahi tuna was very good—seared and served cold, almost like a refreshing salad. The portion was generous, and the dressing on the side was tasty and complemented it. It’s a full-sized portion that could easily be an entrée. The dressing tasted like the store-bought ones but I do enjoy those.
The shrimp were very smoky, and a bit underwhelming, and served on bread.
Service was decent, with someone checking on us shortly after the food was brought out. I wasn’t a fan of the pitcher sitting on the table. We were seated closest to the door, but there was plenty of space in the restaurant for larger groups. It was also a bit drafty, but it wasn’t too bad. It took just over 25 minutes from ordering to receiving the food. Service in general was decent nothing to complain about but nothing special.

We got a Blooming Burger, which was fairly good other than it could have used a little more sauce. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. We got a soup/ salad and the potato soup was very good. I think they may have overcharged us for an unlimited soup/salad when we didn’t need unlimited. Not sure if we read the menu incorrectly. The service was good with getting extra water/bread. My only small complaint was that they brought the soup/salad entree immediately while we had to wait quite a while longer for the burger. I thought basic restaurant service was to serve everything together. Overall it was a good experience and we would come back.

Great birthday dinner! New York and Ribeye. I recommend the Mac and Cheese as a side. The restaurant was full on a Friday night, but there was hardly any wait. Tasted fresh. The server Saylor was very nice. Thanks!

The food is good. But I can’t say it was great. These places are just getting outrageously expensive and they food and the price is out pacing its self. But its for sure a place worth trying. But I have been to better steak houses and spent less money for as good or better food. I would also like it better if they did like a honey butter or even a salted butter with the bread they bring to the table. The butter they have basically has no added flavor to the bread. The Watress was great and attentive. They do have some interesting specialty drink options. I wasn’t that impressed with the steak they served either and they added way to much garlic butter basically drowning out the steak. So be cautious on the butter option for the steak and also count an almost $3 add-on for like 1 tablespoon of butter. You will likely spend at least $100 for a couple. I personally won’t go back, there are better options for about the same price or slightly cheaper.

Absolutely terrible experience at Outback Steakhouse in Orem.

The wait time was ridiculous. We were quoted one timeframe and ended up sitting there far longer with little to no communication from staff. No updates, no urgency — just waiting while watching other tables get served.

When the food finally showed up, it was completely unacceptable. The steak was clearly undercooked — not slightly off, but noticeably wrong. For a steakhouse, that’s inexcusable. Other items were cold and poorly plated, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp. For the prices they charge, the quality was nowhere near acceptable.
Service made things worse. It was difficult to get basic things like refills, and no one bothered to properly check in after dropping the food. When you’re serving undercooked meat, you should at least care enough to make sure it’s right. Instead, it felt like once we had our plates, we were forgotten.
This location seriously needs to reevaluate kitchen standards, food quality control, and front-of-house management. Between the long wait, undercooked food, and inattentive service, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Would not recommend.

We were extremely impressed with the level of service and the quality of food provided. My steak was cooked to perfection and properly seasoned. All of the veggies were fresh and the blooming onion is always superb!
