This place was amazing!! I love their steak it was cooked just how I liked it.. Their baked potatoe was great too, I just love how they coat the skin in salt to ensure every bite is delicious and full of flavor. Their ceaser salad was good even though I only had a few bites before switching it with my daughter’s potato soup.. The potato soup was creamy and delicious. I also had a croctail as my drink that really tasted great! Overall, the food was amazing, and the service was on par. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I went to Outback this afternoon to celebrate both my birthday and our 45th wedding anniversary. The last time we went the service was not great at all but we decided to give it one more try and I am so glad we did!! We were greeted with a smile and a very sweet hostess. It was very busy and our waitress seemed to have a lot of tables, so I was worried. Hope was our waitress and she was so excellent!! She was quite busy but was so quick and attentive. We told her it was our 45th anniversary and she offered us a dessert which was SO delicious and she offered to take our photo for us and I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful! I had the filet and lobster and my husband had the New York strip. They were BOTH cooked to absolute PERFECTION! So tender and flavorful and the food came out very quickly as well. We had such a good time and a wonderful anniversary. So glad we gave Outback another try! We will definitely be back! It was so nice to walk in and be greeted with a smile and even though it was very busy I’m so glad we had a waitress who was so attentive and nice! Outback really made a couple of old folks like us feel special! LOL

I’ve had some bad experiences at this Outback in the past, but this visit was completely different. The new management has turned things around, and it shows.
The Melbourne Porterhouse was cooked perfectly, exactly how I ordered it—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The baby back ribs were incredible, fall-apart tender with the right balance of smokiness and tangy BBQ sauce. Everything else we had—wedge salad, baked potato, and Brussels sprouts—was great too.
On top of that, the service was excellent. My waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell there’s a higher standard now, and I’m glad I gave this place another chance.
If you’ve written this place off before, give it another shot. I’ll definitely be back.

Ate dinner here on 1/23/26, and it was the BEST steak I have had from a restaurant in a while in Lake Charles! Very happy to finally get a steak that was cooked to be medium rare, when I ask for medium rare. All of the other food was cooked perfectly as well.
Imagyn was very friendly & attentive! She even paced our order so our mains came out right about after we finished our appetizer, which seems to be a rarity at other restaurants. Will definitely be back soon.

Went for our anniversary go every year where to get the Melbourne steak which they took off the menu a month ago so we had to get the ribeye steak it was much smaller than the Melbourne but it was tasty order the blossom onion had to wait 45 minutes for that to come out and the steak took about an hour and a half. I wasn’t expecting to be wowed, but wowed I was. The Queenslan’ Chicken & Shrimp Pasta at this Outback location is a hidden gem on the menu. The grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned—juicy with just the right smoky char—and the shrimp added a buttery richness that elevated the whole dish.
The pasta itself was cooked to a perfect al dente and tossed in a creamy, flavorful Alfredo sauce that clung to every bite, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming.

Service was horrible. They brought out my potato soup and I waited for my husbands food to come out. My soup started getting cold so I started eating (by now it was barely warm) and we waited. My husband is a very patient man but I was livid. When the waitress finally checked on us she blamed the kitchen being backed up. I lost my appetite we sat and waited. I kid you not one and a half hours later his wings came out. A few minutes later someone came and asked if everything was ok…really!!! When I explained what happened she apologized and blamed it on their computer system. Immediately someone else comes to the table and again blames the computer system, takes the wings off the ticket, and said they would bring me a fresh bowl of soup to go. My husband finished eating and guess what…the soup that was offered never came! I won’t be going back.

So so good! Stop wasting your time going to Texas Roadhouse and go to Outback instead! I got a lavender lemonade and it was delicious! Hubby and I got a blooming onion (download the app you get it for free) and we split the steak and chicken combo. The steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked just the way we like it. The service was great and the food was delicious! Definitely going to be our new date night spot!

The food was absolutely spectacular. The boom and shrimp came out fresh and hot. That’s my top recommendation for appetizer. The chicken wings was so perfect. Meat was falling off the bone completely tender and the Bowman chicken entrée is very good as well. I definitely recommend this outback steakhouse location the service was phenomenal. Our waiter was perfect very bright spirit and friendly, had a great first date here♥️♥️♥️

We had the BEST experience!! The food was slightly seasoned but the manager on duty, Cassy, fixed us right up!! Kennedi was our server and she was absolutely amazing and extremely quick with our drinks, appetizer and food. She was absolutely the sweetest most attentive server I have had in a very long time!!
