I haven’t been to an Outback in a long time. And never this location. I was disappointed to learn they do not serve garlic mashed potatoes anymore.
My side house salad had a hair in it and all the veggies were frozen solid. The waiter took it off the table and off the bill. Other than that the sirloin and burgers were good. The blooming onion was way too salty for me.

The baked potato was perfect. The shrimp and chicken Alfredo was ok. The chicken was seasoned well. But the shrimp and the noodles was bland. It’s messing something. I barely ate the noodles.

Went there last night and upon being seated we could smell a musty, rancid smell. We assumed it was coming from a mop bucket, however when they brought our food I cut into my ribeye steak ate a bite and the second bite tasted off, so I cut into the center and it was horribly rotten I threw my guts up, and the other 3 people with me could not eat their food after smelling the rancid steak! The waitress was wonderful and apologized, she said someone else had complained earlier. the manager took my steak off the ticket but not the 3 others at the table who were so grossed out that they could not eat their own food, including a filet! The entire ticket should have been waved, since no one could eat after they served a rancid, spoiled steak!

I received a call from Mr. Harold with Outback Steakhouse, and he was extremely friendly and sought to make the situation right! I explained to him what happened and that my frustration was with how the manager handled the situation and after hearing how the situation unfolded, he agreed the manager did not handle it properly! Harold insisted on sending me some coupons to offset the wasted money I spent that night, in spite of me telling him it wasn’t necessary!
It was a very frustrating and quite frankly Gross experience Saturday night….. but Mr Harold went out of his way and made it right! For that I wanted to say thanks! It’s greatly appreciated!

The building was clean and decorated for the holidays. We did not have to wait. Our server Cory (not sure of the spelling)was amazing and very kind. Our food came out quickly and just as we ordered. The bread was also fresh. We definitely will return!

Family of 4. I ordered the 15 ounce steak, Baked Potato and French Onion Soup. Cooked well (medium well), smelled great, looked great. However, it was very salty. Didn’t really complain, did mention it to the waiter. He offered other menu items in it’s place, which was refused. The soup, the steak and the potato was very salty. Manager did state that Outback as a whole has been instructed to be more heavy handed with the seasoning. I think that it’s a big mistake. I dont blame the staff they were great, couldn’t ask for better. Bill (with a gift card my son got me for Christmas) was aboit $115 and I decided to give the young man a $40 tip because he tried everything to make the meal right. I would recommend instructing the wait staff/cook to go easy on the salt. Manager did discount the meal 10%.

The food was of slightly lower quality than we are used to. The cut of steak we received did not seem choice and was a bit fatty. I was shocked by how quickly the food came out, which may have been the reason for its blandness. It looked great, but it was four stars overall. It was a bit confusing having five different servers, but our main server was amazing. It is nice to be able to pay at the table with the POS system.
The cocktails were amazing, which is usually how Outback Steakhouse is. I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for the best steakhouse in Lafayette, but I would suggest it for quick, wonderful service.

On 3/7/26 while dining at Outback in Lafayette my order came to me very under cooked. In my opinion my waitress was not attentive and catered to the table next to us as it appeared she knew them. The manager immediately came to my table saying oh no that’s not how we do things we won’t fix another steak I’ll put it back on the grill. I chose to patronize this establishment however, we won’t be returning!!

We were seated right away. Very friendly staff. The manager was great, personally checking on everyone who was in the restaurant. Took a little while for me to decide what I wanted and ended up with the grilled salmon, steamed broccoli, and mashed potatoes. My husband got the grilled chicken and hot honey fried shrimp. I didn’t have room for dessert. Maybe next time. The food was really good overall. The waitress was nice.

only reason i’m even giving them two stars is because of two of the kindest people i’ve ever met being so warm and welcoming to me during my visit, i believe they said their names were Presley and Josephine!! besides that i would not recommend this place. management was extremely rude.
