The staff were all friendly. That was about the only good part of the visit. I had soup and salad. The soup was lukewarm and best and not very appealing. The salads I have had at other Outbacks are usually so good. This one was not good. The French fries tastes like coconut shrimp per my husband, and I tried a bite and agree. After my husband was done with his burger, he offered me the rest. I had a few bites of the burger. Personally I would have rather gone to Wendy’s for their burger, and I don’t eat fast food anymore. The is restaurant needs help from corporate’s they want to stick around. There are so many options for dining in the area. I would personally not ever go back here to eat. Basically threw $40 away.
Unfortunately, once we were seated, the dining experience declined significantly. Our server was inattentive, often disappearing for 15–20 minutes at a time. Dishes were not cleared from our table until they had piled up, and we had to repeatedly ask for them to be removed.
I ordered my steak medium rare, but it was cooked incorrectly three separate times. The first time, it came out closer to blue rare. After waiting about 10 minutes just to flag our server down, the response was indifferent; simply that he would “handle it.” The steak was refired twice more and still not cooked to the requested temperature. When it was finally edible, it was overwhelmingly oversalted, something other guests at the table also noticed and commented on.
After paying a $140 bill and leaving a $30 tip, we attempted to order desserts to go. It took more than 20 minutes to get our server’s attention again. When we arrived home, we realized the requested drizzle; which we had confirmed twice, was not included.
Overall, the service did not match the price point, and the food quality fell short of expectations. Based on this experience, I don’t see myself returning.
I only recieved some broccoli and a potato with a cup of bacon bits (specifically asked for no bacon bits)
My husbands filet mignon had a weird cajun rub as well? Why spicy? 🙁
Edited to say: Host was definitely patient with my sad dinner frustration
Unfortunately, the blooming onion was pretty soggy and the batter was missing from half of it. Skip the apps and go straight for the steak and drinks!
Zane provided great service. The Blooming Chicken was delicious. Great flavor, juicy, cooked to perfection. The steak had great flavor but was a touch undercooked. The Mac ‘n cheese was the best I’ve ever had. Drinks came before we were even done ordering them and food came super fast. Great experience.
Went here on a road trip.
Zane was a good waiter.
The Young lady that was bringing out drinks and bread and the food was very prompt. I think the price was a bit much but I have no complaints with anything.
I ended up tipping him and her.
