I visited this location with my son and granddaughter on Saturday, 10/4. From the start, I knew I was in the right place. The host at the door was super inviting and accommodating. They got my party and myself seated immediately. We did use the app to get on the wait list. If you frequent Texas Roadhouse, you know this is the best way NOT TO BE SITTING AND WAITING. They are usually pretty busy at all the locations I go to.
Moving on, my waitress was Josie, who was an absolute delight. Super friendly, very accommodating, she listened to everything I said in regards to our order, and she kept the glasses full. Outside of that, her energy was very inviting and lively. Her parents did very well. I’m proud of her. I almost don’t wanna go to another TRH. Let alone be waited on by anyone, BUT HER!! She really was that pleasant folks, and that’s not me gassing her up. THATS a FACT!!! AND I can tell you, just like any business, you have competitors, and the only thing that separates you usually from your competitors IS SERVICE. Josie, in my humble opinion, is what every employee in TRH ranks should strive to be. SHE IS THE STANDARD. Especially when BAD SERVICE and ATTITUDES are the norm and not the exception in hospitality industries.
In closing, the atmosphere was very comfortable and homely. The manager on duty(I believe his name was Josh/Jonathan) came over and checked on us and made sure everything was going well. That was pretty nice, too. It’s the small things, folks. As I left out, I even had Sherri help me with bagging my order. She could’ve just handed me the bag when I asked for it, but she went THAT LAST EXTRA MILE. Again, folks, it’s the small things that separate you. I had an AMAZING experience and definitely recommend this O’Fallon Mo location. When you get there, look little, miss Josie up and tell everyone BIGBEN from STL sent you! Cheers!

Wife and I ordered the steak and shrimp combos. We both had the steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes in a side salad. My Caesar salad is the best I’ve had in years. We had bread before the meal therefore we were kind of full before we got a meal and only ate the salads the mashed potatoes in the four or five shrimp we brought the stakes home. My wife did not touch her a steak and I had a couple bites of mine while it was tasty it was tougher than whale dung!

I’m not a fan of Outback but I had a good experience at this location on January 24th.
The steak and baked potato were very good and reasonably priced; an 8oz steak + sides was only $19. The side salad was OK but not exactly restaurant quality: it was not mixed so the dressing was all at the top and in the middle and the cheese was just the same shredded cheese you get at any grocery store.
Service was great, I was seated with no wait and my server Jack was very attentive. However it’s worth mentioning I came here around 4:30pm so this might not be representative of their service at peak hours.

Horrible service. First time coming here and it was my Fiancés birthday. Last night, the waitress disappeared for half an hour and still hadn’t taken our order yet just appetizers that didn’t come til half an hour later. Mind you we were the only ones there in her section. I didn’t even touch my food when she finally brought it out I told her I was going to leave because I waited so long and by time I put my order in for the main dish and it get done that the restaurant would close. She tries to bring a whole manager out because I didn’t want to pay for the appetizer that I didn’t even touch and took half an hour to get there. I told her I would pay for my drink because that is the only thing I consumed and my fiancé only got water which is free. She disappears again and I got up and waited by the door for my fiancé to get done using the restroom so we can leave. Manager finally comes out tries to make a b.s. excuse as to why we waited for so long but it doesn’t excuse the lack of attentiveness, communication, or check in that we should’ve received from our waitress during that time she could’ve asked us if we needed any refills, given updates on what’s going on with our food or at least put our order in while we waited for the appetizer to get done. I explained that and told him due to all of that I wanted to leave and their technical difficulties that they were claiming shouldn’t be my burden. I get things happen in the food service industry but the lack of communication and transparency was ridiculous and unacceptable and in this situation could’ve been avoided. Most likely will not be returning and if I do it won’t be at this location or during that time of day.

It was not very crowded, and the service was pretty good as well. The appetizer came out quick! We had to wait a decent little time for our meal. Drinks were never empty, and bread was offered more than 2 times.
Chicken wasn’t dry, and Salmon wasn’t overcooked like a lot of places do. Also, the prices were on point!
The only draw back, the menu isn’t gluten free friendly. I didn’t ask for a GF Menu or options.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food & wonderful service.

Visit this evening was disappointing. Our server did great. The food was fair at best. I ordered the cob salad it came out missing ingredients and had ingredients not listed in the menu in the salad. The lettuce had wilted and brown/rotted on some places. Seriously quality control issue. It’s been at least two years since I’ve been to this specific location always hoping it will improve.

It seems I am frequently disappointed with the sides I order. Last time it was a baked potato that must have been made for the lunch crowd, this time it was the sweet potato, but it was my fault for allowing the brown sugar. The potato soup was very salty.
The steak was good but too much salt for my taste.
The service was great. Kenny took care of us. The dessert rocked!
No pics because we were celebrating our anniversary. Yay!

Food was great, service from our server and the runner was great. But what made this visit EXCEPTIONAL is how the visiting GM I believe Nick is his name made everyone felt. Nick was awesome! He helped us enjoy our farewell dinner for my mom’s retirement dinner that was planned by our family friend. Nick we will never forget this and thank you!!!!

We have fond memories of outback with great food and service. They are clearly understaffed. Spent almost 2 hours there and we didn’t hang out, they took forever despite the fact that the place was more than half empty. The steak was not cooked as ordered, so I didn’t eat it. I didn’t have all night to wait for another. No apologies, no acknowledgment. I even commented to one of the staff that the steak wasn’t cooked appropriately….and nothing….. I left the steak cut up and uneaten on my plate. …. Terribly disappointed, will not return.
