It was okay. It’s definitely not worth $70 for two people. The bread was probably the best part. Our server only took our order, and two other people brought our food. Had to ask someone to clear the table because no one else seemed to care. And it wasn’t busy by any means. Had the bloomin onion, baked potato soup, and the bloomin fried chicken. The onion had kind of an old grease taste. The soup was watery, and the chicken was pretty dry and just not flavorful. All in all, it was food but not great food

There’s something wrong with this location. Always have great food and service in Ankeny, but we’ve tried this location 3 times and we’re done trying. We got the bloomin shrimp as our main, and they were bad! They were overcooked, cooked in very old oil or the wrong batter was used not to mention super salty. Idk what but even the waitress said they didn’t look right. My husband got a pecan salad and the lettuce was brown. The waitress went and spoke to the manager, who never even came over, and we got 50% off. We just wanted to pay, leave, and never come back. Kind of ruined our love for Outback for a while. Go to Ankeny!

We visited fairly early in the evening and only had a 10 minute wait for our table, which I didn’t think was bad. Our waitress was only interested in taking our order and then didn’t put on a smile again until we were paying our bill. We had to ask several times for refills and steak sauce. The food was okay, but it was sub-par for Outback. It will be a while before we go back.

We ordered curbside tonight and Max was on it. He had everything I ordered as well as my extras(ranch) I’m obsessed with their ranch. When my husband pulled up Max was waiting already with our food. They food as always was delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Thank you to Max and everyone for the great service and food. Max your drawing skills are on point.

We had the best experience at Outback Steakhouse in Clive. It was our first time going there and the service was exceptional. Hannah was very friendly and attentive and we couldn’t believe how fast the food came out. We were very pleasantly surprised/impressed!

Three stars is being generous. Service was below par; after our order was served, we had to ask for silverware & napkins, which were never brought. My husband finally spotted some on an empty table, so he took them so we could eat. Hubby asked for steak sauce, but it hadn’t arrived by the time he’d eaten all on his plate except his steak. When our waiter walked by, he was asked again to please bring the sauce. Of course by then his steak was cold. He ordered his steak medium, it was served medium rare.

Went in around 630 on a Sunday evening and there was no wait, got seated right away. The food was good, the steak was slightly more rare than I usually prefer, but I’d much rather it be more rare than too well done! Noah, our waiter, was awesome! He was running his tail off the whole time we were there making sure everyone was taken care of.

I didn’t want to come here, but spouse did, so I caved. Boy, am I glad that I did. Had the best steak I’ve ever had at any Outback. Our server, Haley was awesome. She was attentive, but didn’t hover. Just a very polite, sweet person. I’d gladly come to this Outback again next time we’re in Des Moines.

Grabbed to-go dinner tonight and didn’t even have to text them to let them know I arrived. One of the team members, Max, brought my food out promptly and was very kind and helpful. Love dining here in the restaurant and for takeout!

I couldn’t have been more happy with my short experience here. The interior was warm and welcoming and couldn’t have been better and my steak was a warm perfect medium rare even after getting home. Max was kind and quick getting the food to my car. Definitely recommend.
