I was in Terre Haute for the evening and decided to grab a bite. I sat at the bar and the bar mates Kyrie & Steven were amazing. Steven was prompt with the service and complimented me on my drink of choice.

I normally never do reviews but I was really upset with my experience today. Me and my boyfriend went to eat here for a valentines dinner. We made reservations for 4:45 and everything was fine until we ordered our food. We ordered almost right away after getting our drinks (maybe 10-15 mins after we got there) and didn’t get our food until almost 6:15. (I understand it’s Valentine’s Day but it was not as busy as everyone thinks it was, Probably normal traffic) then when we got our food my boyfriend’s pasta had hardly any of the Alfredo sauce on it, and my coconut shrimp was burnt. All fine I work as a server so I understand things go wrong. We ended up getting the chocolate cake to go so we could eat it later on. When the time comes around I take a bite of the cake and got a big piece of plastic in my bite. I was so upset because our dinner wasn’t great and then I was excited about the cake and I ended up throwing it away because I did not want to eat it anymore after that. Our server was amazing it was just the food 🙁

OMG we had the BEST server at the Outback in Terra Haute! Debbie has to be one top notch server we’ve ever encountered! Debbie was courteous, attentive, funny, had a great sense of humor and very energetic! Debbie made our whole experience memorable! We both had the Porterhouse Steaks, salad, baked potatoes and we took 2 slices of Carrot Cake to go! She gave us extra bread for a steak sandwich for our dinner. We’ll definitely ask for Debbie the next time we pass through Terra Haute!

The area we were sitting in had 9 empty tables. It took 45 minutes to get our food. Our order consisted of 2 hamburgers and an order of fries. The burgers were supposed to be cooked medium well, they were definitely not. And both burgers were completely burnt on one side. I was able to cut most of the burnt off of my burger. My husband ate his. The waitress came back to our table unfortunately she never once asked how everything was. You might wonder why we didn’t ask for them to be remade, well unfortunately we didn’t have another 45 minutes to wait for fresh food.

Bloomin’ Fried Chicken is my favorite by far. The most recent time I visited I got it as part of the Aussie 3-part meal, so I got potato soup and New York style cheesecake with my meal, which is a pretty good deal. Everything was delicious and the chocolate sauce on the cheesecake was SOOOO good. Our server, Olivia, was really nice and patient as I was trying to figure out how to use my digital gift card. Outback is always good, and this place is no exception.
