I don’t know if I just have bad luck with this place or what. Every time I come to this place (even the old location) I’ve had a bad experience with my family. We went for Father’s Day, and the whole experience was absolutely terrible. I called for ahead seating, the girl in the phone had no idea was i was talking about. She must have been new, I made the reservation, I get to the restaurant 20 minutes early and they can’t find my information anywhere. We had to wait… we finally get seated, and when the waiter finally decides to come take out drink order everything we asked for he kept telling us that they were out. Down from beer to the pink lemonade my kid asked for. Took him another while to bring our drinks. Never brought the table bread after 40 minutes of sitting there he came to the table and we asked if we could get bread. When he took our order he kept acting like he couldn’t understand my parents English. Which was very discouraging, and upsetting being that my parents never had issues before with being understood. Then we waited a good 1 and a half for our food to finally come out. Mind you the entire time there the waiter did not clear our table from used dishes not even the menus, they literally sat on our table the entire time. Once the food came out my moms food was cold and the steak was not edible at all. When I took my kid to a bathroom break. I walked into an awful sight. I had to take pictures and I couldn’t believe that a new establishment lets their bathrooms get to the conditions. I think is was the last chance we give this place. It was absolutely disappointing once again. The management team was terrible. They were all up in the front booth just talking.

Went to the new location and the place was clean, good service, the waitress was very attentive. I got the ribeye and coconut shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce for the shrimp was good. The manager came over to check on us also. Will definitely go here again

We didn’t have the best experience at the new Outback in Altamonte. The restaurant is nice but the layout being open meant everyone got to hear the toddler having a meltdown (not just the tables nearby). I had the prime rib with shrimp. The 4 shrimp were tiny and nothing exciting. A third of the steak was fat and not edible. My baked potato was dry and they forgot my mixed vegetables. The waitress went to get the veggies but I think in the hurry to bring them they didn’t get fully cooked. Even the onion in the bloom’n onion was a little less cooked than normal. My wife’s meal was good so maybe I just chose poorly.

1st time visiting this new location. I did the call ahead seating so the wait time wasn’t too bad for a Saturday. Our server Elizabeth was very friendly and she suggested a few different drinks to try. It was probably one of the best Blooming Onions we’ve had in quite awhile. Rest of the dinner was delicious as well. We will definitely be back to see Elizabeth.

First time back since the pandemic and new building/new location. Food looks pretty on the menu and in my photos, but reality is the food temperatures were fridge cold. Not even the butter and cheese melted on the mashed potatoes. Don’t care what instructions we gave the waiter as the cooks and/or staff did not follow. Our waiter, Eric, was more interested in the tip versus taking care of us. It took more than 12 mins for us to get our first drink order as I saw him tend to other people drinks first and they came in after us and by the time we got our drinks, they were watered down. Not good first impression on a new building/new location. Seems to me like nothing has changed.

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times since it opened a month or so ago and had a different experience each time. The first one seemed to be a training day, no issues with that. I know learning a POS system for orders can be difficult. One of the other times, I saw a drink that was made at the bar that looked like the same drink my buddy ordered, sit there for a little while before being picked up. Turns out it was his drink. They seemed busier so that’s not too out of the ordinary. My most recent visit was for lunch on a Sunday and it was fairly empty. I happened to notice the table next to me had crumbs all over the seat, and my own table had a sticky residue on the edge. There were many employees standing around waiting for things to do, likely because they weren’t busy, but the cleanliness could have been better. Our service was great, but again, likely due to it being slow and him not having other tables at the time.

Maybe we will try again after they’ve been open for a few months. We sat down at 8, entrees came out at 10. No sauce on Alfredo pasta, no sauce on Mac and cheese, asked for steak sauce and got it about 15 minutes after the steak came out and sat on the table… it’s a NO for me for a while.

This is the new Outback location in Altamonte Springs. It’s a huge space. We had our usual: ahi tuna to start followed by Victoria filet. All good. It’s a solid steak but I have to say the pieces are high $31 for an 8 oz filet.
