My husband and I had a date night here. The food was on point. The chili was extra good and who doesn’t love a bloomin’ onion. The server mistakenly brought my husband the wrong drink, but it was an easy fix. All in all we had a good time.

This location is a 10 out of 10. The visits that I have had here were always such a great experience with exceptional service. The food is superb; cooked, prepared, and seasoned well. The waitresses are always pleasant and accommodating. The times we have visited, there was never a wait. Seating was always available, even though it was not empty. I look forward to my next visit.

The worst experience I have had in a restaurant setting in a while. Our food took over an hour to come out, I ordered a medium well steak and got a warm well done steak that we could tell had sat under a hot light, and we found hair in our food.The server lacked empathy and even knocked over my mother-in-laws drink into her salad and didn’t offer to make her a new one. We never look for hand-outs so we paid for the dinner but please be warned. I’m not sure if it was a bad night for them but with this being the only Outback nearest to us we will not be in the neighborhood for some time. This location has had other bad days with us so fool me once shame on you but I will not be fooled again. Last visit for us.

My husband and I went here for an early dinner on a Friday night (March 6). I ordered the center cut filet mignon with the lobster tail. My husband ordered the same. When the steaks came out, they gave me my husband’s plate and my plate to my husband. We had to switch. They gave me a flat sirloin. We buy steak and cook it at home all the time and go to Mabella’s often. We clearly know the cut and grain of a center cut filet mignon. When I addressed it with the server, she said they said it was a filet mignon. She disappears and a manager comes out. She argued with me over and over and did not offer me a replacement steak. She was loud to the point it became embarrassing. I got ticked because she would not stop and told her to take the entire meal off my ticket. Then she finally offered by saying can we get you anything else after she knew she had pushed me too far. At that point, it was too late. I had lost my appetite because of how rude and loud she was along with the fact that she was basically telling me the steak was filet mignon, which it clearly was not and never offered to replace it until I said take it and take it off my bill. She later comes back with two ten dollar gift cards and acts all apologetic and continues to say it was a filet mignon and was flat due to how they cooked it. I told her the problem is that she argued with me and never offered me a replacement. She said I did. She was talking very loud and I told her she was making a scene. I just wanted her to go away because she was ruining my husband’s meal at that point. My husband spoke up and told her it wasn’t about the money. The issue was I didn’t get a center cut filet mignon like I ordered and we weren’t paying for a steak that was clearly not a center cut filet mignon. I hope she learned a lesson. Never argue with your customers. Be accommodating and offer something else without arguing with them and making a scene. We go to places like Connor’s steakhouse in Huntsville and Knoxville, and Mabella’s in Midland. I was just blown away at the difference in attitude. I guess that’s why Outback is a chain with low quality customer service. We have always liked their food, but when you are wrong you make it right. Maybe she and her staff do not know steak cuts. Who knows. We won’t be visiting there again. Customer service is out the window these days. It’s sad because there are not many places to really eat nice meals in Columbus. Do better Outback. People definitely don’t want to come sit in your restaurant and get yelled at. I hope the General Manager sees this. Maybe she was the General Manager. Blonde headed lady with blue shirt. She is high stress!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this Outback! I usually don’t prefer Outback’s steaks, but my steak tonight was very tender and extremely well seasoned. Our server, Noel, was also wonderful! Will definitely come back, and will request our same waitress again!

Beautifully Crafted
What I ordered versus what I received. My steak wasn’t cut barely any pasta sauce and it just tastes like salt and pepper. A waste of 30 dollars. For a first experience it sucks.

We love this location and was able to come by finally today on our lunch break. We waited at the door for quite a while with another group as the hostess was nowhere to be found, she finally arrived and sat us and the server started off okay. The service was pretty slow for the restaurant not being busy however our server continuously walked past our table and checked on other tables without saying a word to us about the wait. Our food was eventually brought out by someone else. We waited way too long for a salad and needed refills as well, the server did not try to communicate at all with us instead ignored us. I opted to pay on the kiosk to be able to leave a review and once she saw i left a 1 star review she finally came over and became very upset and argumentative, rolling her eyes and yelling across the restaurant. The manager was miss kristy and after hearing the commotion she did not hesitate to come over and check on us and make things right IMMEDIATELY!! She was so kind and patient and deeply genuine. She truly has amazing customer service skills and will do anything to make sure you leave satisfied! As it approaches the holidays i wanted to bless a restaurant server with a tip of 200% of whatever our meal cost (in this case $130) and it is unfortunate that she missed this opportunity with her nasty attitude. Miss kristy would not accept a tip but i will definitely be back just to see her next time! Thank you again kristy!

The steak was seasoned and cooked really well. I did notice that the silverware and dishes could maybe use a bit more attention when being washed, but it wasn’t nasty or anything, just a small suggestion for next time. Thanks for the great service!

We ordered a six person family Meal with six sirloins and grilled shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly and came out in a timely manner. The salad was fresh and they gave tons of bread and dressing! Definitely will be doing this again to go!

I was seated and no one ever came to my table. I searched for the manager who was very apologetic and offered a free appetizer. She ensured me that I would be taken care of. After more 20 minutes and not a single person came to take my order. I simply paid for the appetizer and left.
