We stopped here in our way back to Myrtle Beach. Our server was amazing she was polite and attentive. You can not go to outback and not start off with the blooming onion. I ordered the fried chicken salad w/ranch. It was huge!! My daughter got a 6oz sirloin. She didn’t really like it as it was super grisly n hard to chew. She also had the smokehouse mac n cheese and a Ceasars salad. She loved them both. For dessert we got the chocolate thunder from down under. It was good super sweet but good. Its ice cream on top a warm pecan brownie drizzled with chocolate syrup and chocolate pieces. The atmosphere was ok it was quiet as it was slow. Whenever you’re in Sumter you should drop in and get you bloomin onion.

The Bloomin Onion was dripping with grease! The Salads were good. The sweet potato was Dee Lish but the steak I ordered (med rare) turned out to be ground hamburger meat 2.0 and raw! Pink Lemonade was tart. That’s why I rated the food 2 stars!

I ordered online! Cindy was my server. Not only is she super pretty but she was very kind. I also received a message from Tiffany inquiring about my experience and she was also incredible. Outback, whatever you’re doing to hire such sweet employees? Keep it up! And give them a raise haha! My takeout was fresh and I was so excited to get that awesome bread. I will order again.

Not too long ago I decided that I was finished with The Outback restaurant in Sumter… the service was slack ,the food was only fair, it was unimpressive to say the least. My 92 year old father insisted we go back, it was always a favorite of his. Okay , I’ll give it a shot for his sake…… 360 degree turn around ! I was more than pleasantly surprised. Service quality and atmosphere was greatly improved. I understand new management has come in? Whatever the case , it has definitely improved and my father and I have been back on a couple of occasions! Great Job

I ordered a blooming onion, wings, and grilled shrimp for appetizers, and a NY Strip and prime rib for mains. The steaks arrived very quickly, even before the appetizers, making me wonder if the order was meant for someone else. The medium rare prime rib came out almost well done. When I pointed this out to the staff, they promptly replaced the prime rib, one-third fat part for extra packed flavor.

I’ve been to a lot of outbacks, but this one. Gives all outback a bad name. We waited 1 hour for some cold food. And the food was over seasoned specially the blooming onion Chicken wings were cold and greasy Salmon was cold sent all the french fries for the children they were not even warm They were passed steel. And I paid $139 for this bad choice. I was wondering why I didn’t see any vehicles in the parking lot now I know why. Last time eating at outback specially this one.

My company is working in town I took the employees there last night for a steak dinner. Terrible. My steak was cold and tough not even sure it was a filet. Four of the five people had steaks and all were not happy. The shrimp sauce was cold. Loaded mashed potatoes was cold. The only good thing about the meal was the loaded fries appetizer. It was actually hot. Would have given the server five stars if she would have asked me how my meal was. But I honestly think she already knew. Would not recommend and will never go back to any Outback. Waste of $250.

The service was great, we went early on a Sunday close to opening (11-1130am arrival) so it wasn’t packed, even though the Sunday crowd was arriving. We sat at the bar to avoid having to wait for a table, we were greeted, received our drinks and placed our food orders in a timely manner. The waitress updated us continuously. I had a sweet tea and my man tried the kiwi strawberry lemonade, the sweet tea was like water, but the kiwi strawberry lemonade was fairly decent. We tried the mac and cheese bites as an appetizer, they were okay and lightly seasoned but once they cooled and were dipped in the sauce it was great! The Queensland chicken and shrimp pasta was absolutely delicious and fresh, it came served with a whole chicken breast that I cut up. My man had the sirloin and grilled shrimp which he said was really good, he had broccoli and fries as the two sides and loved everything. Both meals were very filling. Would go back!
