Stopped by on out first night to try them in a different state. The server was very friendly and helpful. The food was good not much different than home. But it hit the spot. I would give them 7 out of 10 stars.

We did a to go order on Valentine’s Day and when I arrived I was told there was going to be a much longer wait for my food. I asked if I could order a soda and the to go server Brought it out immediately along with some bread. She was so pleasant, and apologetic for the wait. The wait ended up being shorter than I was anticipating, and the to go server was absolutely delightful. All of the food was perfect and hot. Even though way times were longer due to the holiday, the overall experience was great. The to go staff handled everything with grace and should definitely be recognized for handling the situation so well.

The proprietor — Rebecca Roberts — made this the most special lunch! We are vegan, so we ordered all the vegan options available (salads, steamed broccoli, steamed asparagus, sweet potatoes, and found out the brown bread was vegan, so we ate that also). While we were eating, the proprietor, Rebecca Roberts, then made us a special, off-menu, on-the-house vegan dish of sweet potatoes chunks, button mushrooms, spring onions, steamed broccoli, shredded coconut, and balsamic glaze, which we also ate. It was delicious! If we went back again, we would ask for 2 of them! Plus, we’ll be making this dish at home! Thank you, Rebecca! You should add this to the menu! (note: the app isn’t allowing me to upload the photo of Rebecca’s delicious dish–sorry!)

We were a party of 2. Told server of a dairy allergy for one of us. Salads were promptly delivered, covered in cheese. Ordered ribeye steaks. They looked ok, however, they were so gristle-y, they just were not good. Almost a quarter of my steak was inedible.

The food was amazing they cooked all our steaks a really nice tasty medium rare like we asked them too and everyone was so nice our server Cindy was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. one employee recognized that me and my brothers were twin and we had a nice brief chat on how he was a twin too. overall really enjoyed my time and I’ll definitely be eating here again in the future.

Came to Outback for my dad’s bday lunch, and though there was a mix-up with our food, the staff handled it amazingly. They fixed everything right away, gave us a discount, and made sure the rest of our meal was great. Everyone was super friendly and genuinely cared about making our experience a good one.
They turned things around and made sure my dad still had an awesome bday lunch. Big thanks to the team for keeping the day bright.
Ironically my food was the best of the table. My steak was nicely seasoned, and the fries were super crispy and hot. Recommend for the amazing staff and foods!

Everything was perfect. I don’t know why the overall Google rating is so low. The file try was done and seasoned perfectly. The burger and pasta were also very good. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly. I would definitely eat here again in the future.

First & foremost, our waitress was stellar!!
I ordered a $30 prime rib, medium rare. It came extremely well done, dry as a bone with absolutely no flavor at all. Our server offered to return it to the kitchen, but not being a fan of spit in my food, I declined. I took it back to our hotel & fed my dog. Server was so sweet bringing dressing for my salad & butter for my “loaded” potato. She did get busy & never refilled our drinks. I never expect much from chain restaurant mixed drinks, but don’t waste a penny. Watered down fruit juice has more flavor than any of our drinks had. So disappointing to have a $165 meal ruined with an inedible prime rib.

Steak was not cooked per my order. Asked for medium and received rare/med rare. Our Server offered to get another steak and wanted me to hold my potatoes on a plate at my table, while they cooked another steak. Potatoes got cold while waiting and when they returned with the steak, it was the same steak, well done! Could not eat it and the manager came out to apologized yet no compensation was offered.. Being a long time
customer for many years, I will no longer visit the Outback in Nags Head NC! The server was not pleasant at all and acted as though I was bothering her with my problem and the 3 tables she was waiting on!!
