The main dishes took two hours and were missing all the sides.

I called to make a reservation of four, three adults and one young child. Once we got there at 6:30pm, the place was packed with people waiting to be seated. We were packed like sardines! People inside the restaurant and in the doorway, but there were about 30-40% of tables NOT being used. They were clean, set and ready to go. I dont understand why so many people were waiting. Now once we got there I told them my name and that I have a reservation..we got seated immediately, thank god. Our waitress was super sweet and kind! We got our menus and ordered our appetizer, drinks and meals. Now our drinks, appetizer and bread came out SUPER fast, and I was happy because I thought ” okay cool this will be an easy lovely dinner, take about hour.” BOY WAS I WRONG! Once we got our drinks, appetizer and bread….everything came to a stop…a complete stop. 30 minutes goes by and my father gets his chili and salad while me, my two year old and my husband didn’t get our food. 1 hour goes by (7:30pm) ..still no food, now my 2 year old is getting fussy. Its now 8:10pm STILL NO FOOD! ( 8:15pm) I had to leave and go to my van because now my child is crying uncontrollably. I asked my husband to tell the waitress to just please put our food in bags so we can just leave….My dad and husband stayed behind to pay our bill. ( BTW) we still haven’t gotten our food yet. It wasn’t until 8:30 pm is when they FINALLY gotten our food out! FREAKING 8:30PM !!!!! Once we got home we realized that our food was missing their sides…..each dish was missing their SIDES! HOW?! This was my first time here and it will be my last. I will never come back.

We sat in the Bar section and our server was awesome. Everyone was courteous and frienly. My husband had the filet with Lobster tail (x2) and shrimp skewed. Everything was seasoned and cook to perfection. Lobster was so sweet. We also had the appetizer trio. Omg so good. I had the Cobb Salad and no complaints. We will be back.

Saturday night ….we had no wait , staff was nice courteous , attentive , waitress was outstanding… the owner introduced himself and asked about our dining experience. Food was cooked perfectly and the Adult Cocktails were mixed well….recommend everyone try the Smoky Old Fashion…

I ordered takeout from this fine establishment. I was in town for work and unfamiliar with the area and restaurant. I went to pickup my order and was approaching the entrance when the hostess opened the door and kindly greeted me with a warm smile. Unknowing to me I had not gone to the take out door. The hostess took me to the take out area a promptly passed me my order. The food that I ordered was absolutely delicious, but the service I received from that hostess was amazing. I have never felt so welcome to an establishment in my life. Kudos to the manager and that hostess. You have definitely nailed what customer service truly is. Thank you!

First and last in this specific rest. I go to Outback in Smithfield very often, NEVER had issues… Let me start saying that I went around 3pm. There were only two vehicles in the parking lot. When I walked in, the lady was nice. I told her that it was my first time in that rest and asked her if she likes it. She told me “I don’t eat here”. Now I know why. The server took my drink and appetizer order. She came like 15mins later with an almost burnt and greasy blooming onio and our two glasses of water without the lemon requested, took extra five mins to bring my husband’s juice. Food came out… I have to say that my ribeye temperature was perfect. The Caesar salad, a disaster! You can tell when iceberg lettuce is wilted. Even when they saw that lettuce almost black and soggy, they serve it and brought it to the table. My husband’s pasta with shrimp ufff. The server was afraid to put the plate on the table. She suggested to change the shrimps for chicken, that’s how bad those shrimps smelled. Finally, my husband’s pasta with chicken finally arrived. The noodles were under cooked, stuck together with almost no sauce. The server noticed that, I guess, and brought us a side of sauce. Anyway, my husband ended not eating his food. Time to pay. I gave the server a $10 gift card that I had, she complained about it, so, I was not able to use it neither. Nothing was in our favor that day. So, it was a bad experience. It looks like the staff do not care!!! The quality of the food that I received wasn’t good. The service was not the best and she didn’t care much. The sad,shameful part is, they weren’t busy, we can’t say it was because they were in a rush. Simply, they didn’t care. I am not a picky person but this was too much. Not going again to that rest again. I Will keep going to Smithfield. They have the best service!

Stopped in for Dinner last week while in Goldsboro. This is a must every time we come to town. The food and service are always top notch. We sat at the bar and Shari took care of us, treated us like we were family. I ordered the Surf and Turf with sweet potato and it came out just as I ordered it. Drinks were always full. As soon we sat down the manager Brittany came over and remembered us from last time. I don’t know how she remembered but the wife and I love a blooming onion, a few minutes later there was one sent out to us from Her. I mean it doesn’t get better than that. Also, this was a Friday night, it was packed, we never felt rushed to leave. We will see Y’all next time we are in town. Thank you!

Waited over a hour before the food came out room temperature. Caesar salad tasted like chopped onions. Everyone else around was giving a birthday celebration accept our table. Came here for my mother’s 77th birthday. I am so disappointed

My 3 year old, husband and I visited this location 12/26/2024 at about 4:30 or 5:00. We were met by a very pleasant, accommodating and kind waitress. Our drink orders and appetizer were taken pretty quickly. We looked over the menu for a few moments before ordering finally. The house salad and chili for my husband’s sides came out with my French onion soup. At this time, the kitchen manager came out and introduced herself (we cannot recall her name, nor see a name tag) to us and said if we had questions or needed her to teach out. We agreed and went about our ordered food. To our surprise, the chili was refrigerator cold, the cheese wouldn’t melt, but we were still hopeful. My husband spoke to our waitress who was very apologetic and grabbed the bowl of chili to remedy the mistake. Not moments later she returned with a hot bowl of chili, cheese beginning to melt and all was well. We continue to eat as the rest of our meals come out. Immediately, I notice a long curled hair on top of my Son’s cheeseburger bun. Again, we let the waitress know who takes the plate and apologizes profusely. I took one bite of my Sirloin, it was burnt and not cooked to my request. We gave up, asked for boxes after ordering a slice of carrot cake, tipped the wonderful waitress and left. The kitchen manager should pay more attention to the food she is allowing to be brought and served to tables. The cooks should also probably be re trained and coached. All in all, my husband’s chili was removed from our bill along with my Son’s meal. ‍♀️

Absolutely horrendous service. We waited for 20+ minutes when we arrived, just for a cheesecake to be brought out before any of the food. They forgot about our appetizer and bread, and silverware. When they brought the silverware, it was covered in food particles and butter from the previous person. Steaks were severely undercooked and we were not able to enjoy our appetizer because it came out with the food, probably after about 30+ minutes. Waiter popped in maybe thrice that entire visit to check on us. Messed up one of our salads and did not include dressing on the side as requested. Will never be back again and do not recommend anyone else goes. Oh, and our cheesecake was missing a chunk of it when it was brought to us.
