We had the best food. Our blooming onion was cooked a little bit crispy, which is how we like it.
My steak was cooked to perfection.
My daughter had the Kingsland Pasta. The noodles were perfect and her steak was amazing as well.

I ordered a bowl of potato soup the largest on the menu, but when I got home I only had a cup of soup. Now where I went to school a cup is 8 oz, when I called to tell them I got the wrong size the manager gonna tell me that a cup is only 1/2 full and a bowl is a full cup, also he said the cup size was 6 oz of soup and the bowl is 10 oz of soup, so please someone help me understand how you get 10 oz of soup in an 8 oz cup, I took a picture of it beside of an actual cup. THIS IS DEFINITELY A CUP NOT A BOWL!!!

I ordered the 6 Oz Sirloin/Grilled Chicken with a loaded baked potato and a side salad. The meats were cooked to perfection! They tasted absolutely amazing! The potato and salad was delicious. Our waiter was very nice and returned often to check on us. I also indulged myself in a piece of strawberry cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. My drink of choice was iced sweet tea which was very good. I will definitely be returning here.

We have our normal steak choices with Creole toppings, but this waitress was really good and the others sitting around us were cool too. A really good experience that was a notch or three up from normal good food and service. We will be back.

Our food was delicious and prepared exactly like we had ordered. Our server Matthew W. was perfect with everything. He was personable and his timing was just right. We never felt rushed or pressured to move along as we sometimes do with 3 kids. We ordered filets with lobster, ribs, a blooming onion, a wedge and few other things and everything was PERFECT, both beautifully plated and perfectly cooked.
Thank you everyone for the delightful experience. We will definitely be back!

I went here for my first official date with my girlfriend and it did not disappoint. Great food and a truly attentive waitress made our first date a great one. Highly recommend the porterhouse steak and the (not kidding) chocolate thunder from down under. It’s expensive but if you have the money, it’s a great time.

Outback Danville: Where Good Taste and Cleanliness Go to Die
My experience at the Outback Steakhouse in Danville, VA was absolutely terrible from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the place smelled like old mop water. It was overcrowded, loud, and uncomfortable. When I asked the manager (Gary) if we could move to another table, he rudely refused and sat us right next to the restrooms. Completely disrespectful.
I ordered the Kingsland Steak and Shrimp, and the entire dish was unappetizing. The pasta wasn’t fresh, and the sauce tasted like melted butter mixed with jarred Alfredo. My baked potato looked beat up and tasted old and overcooked. The salad wasn’t fresh either—limp lettuce, soggy toppings, barely any dressing.
One of my daughters asked for rice—it was hard, clumped together, and clearly not made fresh. Her baked potato was caked in salt and inedible.
My other daughter ordered the Queensland Chicken and Shrimp. The chicken was hard, dry, and overcooked. She said it “tasted like booty,” and her salad tasted like fish. She actually felt nauseous by the time we left.
My youngest daughter said her shrimp could’ve been good if it wasn’t overcooked—but unfortunately, it was dry, rubbery, and ruined the dish.
To make matters worse, there was hair on our napkins, the dishes weren’t clean, and I had to ask for a cup of hot water just to clean off my own fork. That says everything about how this place is run.
The service was inattentive, and the manager was rude and unprofessional. This location seriously needs to replace management immediately. There’s absolutely no pride in the food, the service, or the cleanliness.
I will never return, and I strongly recommend others stay far away from this Outback location.

I ordered Outback to go last night from their app. The app was super easy to use and made it simple to customize our meals the way we wanted. I also really liked how it kept me updated via text and the app as to when my order would be ready. Once I arrived, my food was brought out quickly.
The food was hot and fresh when I got home and all of the items like ranch or butter were there that I had requested. Everything was really good!

Absolutely disappointed! We made an order for a catering pickup three days in advance. It was part of a promotion. We paid, everything was set. They waited until almost noon the day of, to call and tell me they won’t honor the price we paid. The website said you could pick up that deal until the 18th it is the 10th. They wanted to charge me $28 more than what I paid. That didn’t matter though, because they cancelled it before I even had the option to pay full price. I had not even spoken to anyone yet. Absolutely ridiculous! Now I’m stuck trying to find catering for an event within 6 hours. It’s not the price, it’s the point that they are refusing to honor their part of the contract, and cancelled it before I even could even choose to pay full price.

The floors in the entire restaurant were VERY slick. Our waitress had our table of 15 PLUS a full section. She did an outstanding job. No one needed or waited an inordinate amount of time for anything.
