We were seated outside (weather was perfect for it!) and often if you’re seated outdoors at a restaurant, service is skimpy. That was not the case here. The service and food were both wonderful! Our server, Chris, made sure everything was good, and he was awesome! When you have a server with a happy smile and demeanor, it adds to everything. The manager even came out to check on those dining outside. I’d definitely go again!

Malachi was knowledgeable and prompt on delivery. He had great presence and was professional. Steak cooked to perfection thanks to the chef in the back. I would definitely recommend this STEAK HOUSE to anyone traveling in the New River Valley area. The Salmon & mix vegetables were perfect. Ask for Malachi.

The service is excellent and there’s a really great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar areas. They make amazing martinis and I love the French onion soup. They have crab legs on special and can be ordered as a side.

Anytime my wife and I visit Outback in Christiansburg, we always look for CHARLES to serve us. Charles is personable, attentive, and engages us just enough to make the dining experience top-notch and upbeat. His recommendations are spot on whether we are looking for a lighter midday meal or celebrating an occasion going all in with bar drinks and many courses. The restaurant is always clean and the front staff is organized so you are acknowledged the moment you walk in the door. Bonus is they have Guinness too which Charles remembers when we order! My wife loves the carrot cake with NO raisins!

THE BEST Outback Steakhouse I have ever been to. We were sat quickly and given great service by Kate! Bread was brought out very quickly and as soon as we finished it they brought some more. Our food was brought out relatively fast and everything was cooked perfectly. Our waitress Kate was very nice, friendly and had a great attitude. Would 100% come back.

We showed up at 9, needing something to eat since we had been at the VA Hospital in Salem all day and everyone welcomed us very happily. The immediately seated us and quickly showed up to take our order. Our server was so nice and friendly (couldn’t see her name because it was so dark in the restaurant). The cook brought our food out and he was super nice also! Simply the best service we’ve had in along time!
