Met a friend for lunch at Roanoke Outback. Our waitstaff, Matt, provided absolutely efficient and memorable service. He was attentive, humerous, generous, personable, and made excellent suggestions. We ordered the current 3 course special, and the food was tasty and fresh. A nearby table seemed dissatisfied, and Matt skillfully addressed their issue with diplomatic skill and unflapple ease. The restaurant was a little chilly for my comfort, but the excellent service, tasty food, and value of the meal made everything satisfying and relaxing! Great meal, Outback!

Another delicious lunch at Outback. Excellent food, ambience and service. Ordered the 3 course appetizer, entree with side and dessert. So much food, I took home enough for another meal and midnight fudge cheesecake! SO GOOD!

Called in a to go order. Pulled up to take out parking & sign said to enter your parking lot number through the text you received. I never received a text, but my car description was taken by staff. Waited just a few minutes and went in the area marked takeout. There was no one present. I waited and waited, & finally stepped out into the restaurant and waited some more. Went back and forth several times. I could see my order sitting there, but I had not paid yet. Went back out into the dining room and went to the hostess stand where I was told to go back and wait. Finally, somebody dressed to go home walked through and I asked her about the status. She typed several things in the computer and said just wait right here and then went out, as she was then off. Waited some more and finally someone came and rang up my order. Order was less than I thought it should be, so I looked through the bag and the blooming onion that I had ordered was not there. Obviously this confused the staff expediter, and she left, coming back in a few minutes to tell me that the kitchen was preparing the blooming onion. After another wait, she came back with the blooming onion, apologized and gave it to me for no charge. I know I was there over 40 minutes waiting. Food was excellent, food from the initial order was a little cold but the Blooming Onion was wonderfully hot.

Stopped at Outback in Roanoke for food and drink. We decided sit at bar. Bad idea!!! First off the bar was absolutely filthy. We had to ask twice for bread. Mainly because she was on her phone 90% of the time. The bartender was not dressed appropriately not looking like other workers there. She never even told us her name until at the end. Her name was Bri. We were very disappointed. We will never sit at bar again if she is there. One positive the food was great!

Ordered a salad, it was mostly the white & yellow leaves. No Green at all. It had rotten pieces of lettuce in it. Frozen green cucumber slices. Just disgusting. Ordered two dinners to go. Of course they only give you one piece of bread. Should Not have to ask for Xtra bread. It happened before. We have an order for 4 men, different dinners to go & we go pick it up & there is only 1 piece of bread for 4 dinners. Needless to say 3 of the men didn’t get any bread as one man took the only one home with him. Anyway they throw the broccoli in the same dish as the salmon & there’s about a quarter inch of water in the dish soaking all around the meat. Good thing I inspected it before driving 30 miles to deliver. They had two waitresses in the bathroom on their cell phone blocking the door for about 20 minutes. They had some dude probably the dishwasher doing exercises on the wall coming out of the kitchen like parallel bars. Got a glass of wine that done turned to vinegar. Pretty disgusting . The whole place needs an overhaul. They put way too many spices on the food. You have to tell them easy on the spices. Otherwise it’s so much spice you can’t actually taste the food. I have several friends & family members that refuse to go there anymore. Then they go up on prices & down on portion size. The sweet potato used to be larger. Now they are so small you might get a bite or too. My recommendation is to just stay home & make your own food. Don’t depend on this place to make sure you enjoy your time out. Disgusting

Was given a 10 to 20 minute wait. Waited for an hour. Hostess could have cared less that we were there. At this point I wandered why we were even there. Our server Birdie did an amazing job. Food was good, none of the three steaks were cooked to temperature but we kept them the way they were. I also had the pleasure of seeing 3 servers playing on their phone in the woman’s bathroom which was in need of cleaning. Maybe if this restaurant was operated more smoothly things would go more efficiently and more effectively for the customers. While I waited, mind you this restaurant was not in full capacity…I watched four families come and leave and choose not to wait. If I knew they didn’t have their stuff together I wouldn’t have waited either.

I had a awesome time there! I order the alice chicken it was perfect how i want it! My niece works there also as her for job busser! Alot of the severs are very sweet and respectful . the mangers are interactive with the customers which is great cause u don’t see that a-lot.but overall this place is good to eat at and very exceptional.!

I ordered the shrimp on the bar with rice and broccoli and got a side order of sweet potatoes and green beans.
I picked it up at the to go area. I ordered it online. They told me it would be ready at one certain time and I pulled in two minutes before checked in and my meal came out within the next two minutes. The young lady who brought me my food was very very pleasant and very professional, but very nice. I will definitely come back again.

Had a fantastic time, the waitress was amazing, I wish I could remember her name, she was in high school and had hair that came to about her shoulders, she anticipated what we wanted before we could ask her for anything, and we love the ranch at your restaurant and did not have to ask for extra sauce like we usually do, have not had such great customer service in a while. Food was the quality I usually expect from outback. Can’t think of a complaint at all.

I went in with a buddy for my birthday dinner. We walked right in and straight to the bar. Service was almost immediate, and super polite. Our drinks were never empty. The good was cooked perfectly. And though the restaurant was getting hammered, everything ran smoothly, and I never saw anyone in panic mode. I was very impressed.
