I really enjoyed the dinner, especially the steak and ribs at this restaurant. The food was served fresh and at a great temperature, and the flavors were excellent. The ribs, in particular, were incredibly tender and delicious. I also loved the coconut shrimp appetizer.
While the food was great, the service was just average—nothing exceptional.
The restaurant itself is clean and spacious, with free parking available outside. I didn’t need a reservation, which was a plus.

Compliments to the chef and to the staff who all worked diligently and hard to provide 10 star rating customer service at its finest! I know good food when I see, smell, touch and taste and baby outback on Broad street did not go to work to play!!! I ordered the Aussie chicken and shrimp pasta w/o chicken just shrimp, spinach artichoke dip, and coconut shrimp. Those persons served! I don’t even know what to say other than thank you!

We had an exceptional experience at Outback Steakhouse this evening. The food was delicious, but the true standout was the impeccable service. As an Outback Steakhouse alum (2007–2009), I was genuinely impressed — the standard of hospitality was exactly what I remember striving for during my time there.
I’d be remiss not to acknowledge the superb and friendly service provided by our server, Peter. He was attentive from start to finish, ensuring our drinks — including bar beverages — were served promptly and refilled without us ever needing to ask.
One thing that truly stood out was his thoughtful use of suggestive selling. When my buddy was considering a burger, Peter recommended a special that also included a dessert for around the same price — a great value and a perfect suggestion. We also requested extra sauces for our Bloomin’ Onion and salads, and he automatically included some addl. sauce in to-go cups when we asked to have our food boxed up.
At one point, I was glancing at the take-out specials menu on the table. Peter appeared seemingly out of thin air to walk me through the options, and thanks to his clear explanation, we ended up ordering something to take home as well.
I sincerely hope the proprietor or management recognizes Peter for his outstanding service. Based on our experience, he is truly a role-model employee and a credit to your team.

This was probably my third time at this location and our waiter. Peter was awesome! We went very late on a Thursday night. We had less than an hour before the kitchen closed. He was super friendly and did not rush us at all. He even told us we could stay as long as we want it because they had a few other parties in there anyway lol. The food came out great and we enjoyed ourselves.

What an experience! Abby and Ashley were fantastic. I whipped out my “No Rules. Just Right” Outback tattoo and was treated to a Blooming Onion. A service which no other outback has provided. They truly appreciate a fan here in Henrico! Will be back many times. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

It’s been awhile since I’ve ate at outback,i ordered the fillet mignon and lobster tail dinner,I was disappointed with my lobster size the picture looked very good but when I got it, the lobster was a 2 ounce small piece of meat waiter said shipment has been coming in small size, the size should of been 5 ounces..I told her the reason I got it because picture looked amazing..I asked her could I get another one to see if it could be different size, after awhile she finally brought me another,it was a little bit bigger than the first.. if I was told that the size wasn’t what I was expecting I wouldn’t of got it, it was a $40 meal … I don’t mind the price I just wanted the same as what the picture showed..

This location has really gone down the drain. Upon entering you’re greeted with the oh-so-familiar “ dirty dishcloth” smell. The interior could really use a best-in-class deep cleaning. We were seated promptly and our server was pleasant. She brought out bread and plates and when I picked up the top plate, an ant crawled out from underneath. I asked for new plates and received them. Our drinks were so-so and our appetizers were just ok- nothing to write home about. The worst part was our steaks- charred to a crisp on the outside, small and not at all worth the price. We don’t finish the meal, paid and left. Disappointed from start to finish. Manager was busy busing tables, one of the cooks walked past, made eye contact and didn’t bother to say a word or even smile. Clean your restaurant thoroughly, train your staff to greet customers ( or at least smile ) when you’re in the front of the house and cook better!
