Giving our servers the 5 stars at this place, he definitely deserves it, thank you Danon!

Atmosphere is sad and dull.

The kitchen needs help, they are slow, and not efficient in the preparation of the food, we had to wait a long time. Maybe that’s why they fill you up with the endless bread, and give you a table monitor to play games.

The food was ok, I was impressed with my steak, mediocre sides, can’t really mess up fries, baked potatoes and steamed broccoli, nothing spectacular.

You can feel fancy here ordering a steak on a week night special for under $15.

Will be going back to try more soon.

UPDATE:
I went back for the all you can eat Soup, and Salad, but beware, as not all a flat rate, if you try something different, then you get charged three or four dollars more depending upon what you order.

The Chilli tasted burnt for some reason, with too much tomato, so it was quite acidic.

French Onion Soup and Baked Potato Soup was tasty.

The house salad cucumbers were pre-cut, and some were wilted due to sitting in the fridge too long, croutons slightly stale. Please taste your food before you serve it!!

The Wedge was tasty, loved the bacon on this!

The Caesar salad was made with Iceberg, and NOT Romaine lettuce, so the dressing made it a sloppy mush of a salad, not crisp like it should be.

The best part was my $10 steak and rice on the take away special, left feeling great about that.

Ernesto my server was very kind and sweet, he did a good job.

Amazing dining experience. The staff were awesome and the food was on point—came out hot and fast. Ordering was super easy and our waitress was really attentive the whole time. Service was amazing from start to finish. Definitely recommend this location.

Haven’t been to an Outback in a while but was in the mood for a steak and decided to stop by — so happy I did. Had the best experience at the bar. Phyllicia was so friendly and helpful. My steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you!

I was really disappointed with my experience at Outback Steakhouse. For a restaurant that prides itself on being a steakhouse, they should be embarrassed about the way they cook their steaks. For the record, here are the correct temperatures:

Medium: A warm pink center
Medium Well: A slight hint of pink
Well Done: Completely cooked through with no pink at all. Get a meat thermometer if you aren’t sure!!!

However, what I received was far from accurate. I asked for medium I received dry and over cooked. If you’re going to serve steaks, you should at least know how to cook them properly.

The coconut shrimp was another letdown. The oil must have been too hot because they were overcooked and lacked the delicate balance a good fry should have.

And then there’s the wait time… ridiculous. While the food may have looked appetizing from the outside, the taste and texture left much to be desired. Outback should seriously consider retraining their kitchen staff if they want to live up to their reputation.

I’ve been as a customer at this Route 1 location for the past 20+ years, but something has changed for the better. The waiter was quick and helpful, they also seemed to wearthe same black outfits. The food was good with no complaints, and the house salad has really improved. Has the ownership changed because of the appreciated improvements, or maybe they just realized that satisfied customers will keep on coming back. Either way, I really hope that it stays the same. Big changes for the better.

(PS, me and my wife also appreciated the tone down music not blaring at our ears)

I was here on a very warm day.
The beer was cold but the restaurant was on the warm side.
The food came out on the cold side.

It was all good not just what I would have expected.
I went back a few days later and the restaurant was still very warm like the AC was broken or something.

I don’t think I would go back here again to eat.

The other locations I have been didn’t have these issues.

We just went the outback on Richmond Hywy Va. Poor service today. I understand that it’s Veterans Day and I salute you guys to the utmost. Thank you. But the service we received today was the worst. We sat at the bar, the server was rude as hell and not nice at all. We didn’t receive our complimentary bread. Which we not tripping off of it. But one customer beside us did. My husband ordered his food first which was a free meal complimentary of the restaurant he got his salad but no entree. We sat for about 45 mins and still no food nor a chance to order my food. My patience wore out and I left. My husband sat and waited for the manager to come. The manager was very apologetic. I had to give a 1 star to post a review they deserve no stars.

I was at Outback on Sunday night (02/08). The bartender name Phylicia was never at the bar and took her almost an hour to get me another drink. There was another guy there that had said he was waiting an hour for his food to come and when it did it came in a carry out bag. He sent the food back. I’m never returning to this location until something is done with the bartender this is the 3rd time I come and she doesn’t give good customer service if it’s not her friends. The last time I came she was talking to her friend in the corner of the bar by the bathrooms the entire time I was there. Worst bartender ever.

Horribly managed, mediocre food, with horrible service.

Came for Veterans Day was greeted with an overpacked waiting area, a crudely written sign saying they’re only offering grilled chicken despite the website offering otherwise, and was told a table for two would be sat in 15-30 min. Came to find out, that was the same wait time other parties were told but have been waiting for at least 30-45 min. After 20 min we left and over 3 hrs later still never got a message that a table was available.

Same crappy service was given for Valentine’s Day a year or two back, like management just doesn’t care and doesn’t want to improve. Tried giving this place a second chance but it’s sadly just another run down poor excuse of a restaurant, won’t be giving this location a third chance to disappoint.
