Overall a positive experience. I know many folks dislike chain restaurants, but I genuinely think this is a nice addition to the area.
The service and staff were all great. They were welcoming and attentive, which I appreciate seeing.
The food was okay, the Bloomin’ Onion was definitely a bit too greasy and salty for my taste. Will definitely check this place out again in the future.

We visited Outback Steakhouse on a Wednesday evening with a friend who was in town. It wasn’t busy at all, so we were seated immediately. Our server was friendly, checked in a few times, and overall gave good service throughout the meal.
Taste
We started with the mozzarella sticks—nothing special but they were served hot and fresh. For the main course, we had the baby back ribs and a steak. Both were just okay, not much flavor and definitely felt like something we could’ve made better at home. The mashed potatoes were decent, but the mac and cheese had no flavor at all. Surprisingly, the dessert (brownie with ice cream) was the highlight—warm, rich, and hit the spot.
Ambiance
The restaurant was pretty empty, so it was quiet and relaxed. Lots of booths and open space, typical casual chain restaurant vibe. It’s good for low-key dinners or last-minute plans.
Recommendation
Outback isn’t somewhere I’d rush back to for a memorable meal, but if you’re looking for something simple and nearby, it’s fine. The dessert saved the experience, and the service was solid. Reasonable prices too. Just don’t expect anything fancy or bold flavor-wise

My little sister and I went on this food journey and we met Alexis our bartender, Francis the server and the young man who was the host he was busy young black dude but he was so nice . So good customer service means I’m going to have a good time we decided to sit down at the bar and have a drink since we were waiting on our food. Long story short the drinks were cheap but good and Frozen like DC remains and she even put whipped cream on it. The food was excellent and I didn’t have to wait that long and it didn’t cost that much. I had the filet mignon, sweet bake potato with toppings. Mac and cheese and lobster tails and let me tell you it was good I brought my baby back some wings which rocked and my little sister had some something healthy it was good though I forget what it was but she loved it. I took pictures for you to see. You’re going to see and trust me everything in those pictures was delicious. If you’re in Silver Spring , and looking for a place to eat this Outback is a step above the rest. Great service, great food, great atmosphere, great location. Stay tuned for my next food Journey. All meals were excellent, perfect in temperature and taste. The appetizer was hot on arrival and cooked to perfection, It was well enough for an appetizer, but not to much.The bread was hot on arrival and cooked to golden brown. The bread was just as tasty as it looked. The salads were colds and filled with beautiful and fresh vegetables. The ‘Garden salad’ was fresh and crisp as well as the ‘Caesar salad’. Both tasted great and were an appropriate portion
The main course arrived in harmony with the finishing of the bread and appetizer. They were nice and piping hot. The ‘Blooming Burger’ was cooked to the requested temperature. The side was sweetpotato steaming on arrival and tasty.
The ‘Blooming Chicken’ was perfect as was the side of wild rice.
For dessert we had cheese cake. I received a special treat because it was my Birthday . Ice Cream!!!

When I first saw an Outback Steakhouse with a 5 star rating, I could not believe my eyes. But let me tell you, that rating is absolutely deserved! Came with a party for 7, which could be a recipe for disaster at any establishment, but the waiter was patient and thorough when taking the orders. I’m going to get right to the meat of this review (pun intended). I ordered the Char-Grilled Bone in Ribeye with Roasted Garlic Butter Topping, and while it could have been a bit thicker cut of meat, the quality was top-notch. Also, the medium-rare preparation of both the steak and the burgers were right on point. Icing on the cake was a fresh, nicely seasoned French Onion Soup, and a delicious drink with a superb presentation called the “Croc-tail.” At a Steakhouse, I’m always ordering a steak, so I’m unsure if one day I’ll ever be able to review other items on this menu, but if you are looking for an affordable, high-quality steak, look no further than the newly opened Outback Steakhouse in downtown Silver Spring. I truly pray they maintain this level of quality, but you know what they say, “get it while getting is good,” I wouldn’t delay paying this new location a visit!

The food was really good and made well. I really enjoyed my steak as well as my daughter. Our Granny got ribs and they were tender and flavorful. The prices and deals they offer here are top notch! Josh was our server for the second time and he always provides us with outstanding service! He is friendly, kind, attentive and just overall a wonderful person and server. He makes our visits feel special every single time! We are extremely happy with the overall experience and will be back again soon. A very special thank you to our server Josh for always going above and beyond to provide us with a memorable experience.

chicken tenders with fries – very good, easy to share
Outback ribs – not impressed, too squishy
Shrooms -: perfect, fried to perfection, easy fill for 2
Glazed pork – it’s probably depends from your taste, I would skip it
Blooming fried chicken – excellent, tender & juicy
Drinks: basically nothing to flame or wape about – they’re good for a price.

Worst prime rib steak I’ve ever seen. Owner is clearly cheap, or just doesn’t care enough to watch what goes on. They must not pay the employees well for a real chef to work there. This prime rib was leathery AND stale, like they cut corners by not tossing old food… Went to Copper Canyon instead, immediately, photos for comparison. Don’t go here, yuck.

We all know chain restaurants can be hit or miss but as a local I’ve found myself frequenting this location a lot because service has ALWAYS been 10/10. From the moment I walk in, the hostess at the front is always super pleasant to waiter and bartenders. I love coming here as well as my food is always hot and delicious. The manager is always great! He comes around to check on me without fail every single time.
