I wanted to update this review- I was refunded my full bill amount, which is absolutely appreciated. Thank you.
I have ordered from here numerous times before and I was always happy with our meals (dine in and curbside). I decided to order our usual meals tonight.. (curbside) my son (9) has always ordered the Joey filet. This “filet” looked like someone’s left overs for starters… hard as a rock and it was maybe a 1/4 inch thick- and it was so small. Like the size of a dorito- that’s not even an exaggeration, And they forgot his drink. The Mac n cheese my daughter said was good. Myself and my boyfriend ordered ribeyes, flavorful- but both steaks were really bad cuts. Lots of gristly pieces. I ended up giving it to my dog. Our baked potatoes were so salty it hurt my mouth and my wedge salad was half a dirty head of lettuce COVERED in black pepper 3 slices of red onion and 5 soggy grape tomato halves…Gross. I was really underwhelmed and dissapointed in the entire quality of the food tonight. Not to mention my son got violently ILL shortly after eating his leftover filet special. I even “tipped” bringing my total to $100. That’s crazy. All around will likely not eat here again.

Personally had a great experience this evening. Everyone was so NICE! Especially the food runner, who went out of his way to make sure we were set and even checked on us after dropping off food to other tables when our server was busy making their rounds. That was a first for me, as they usually dip really quick, or tell me they’ll get my server to help.
Side salad was a good size and we took our dessert to go. I prob won’t get the loaded mash again because I don’t think it’s worth the upcharge, but everything tasted great. Kids also went ham on the complimentary bread, warm and yummy.
We enjoyed our food and would come back for the service. Pictures for reference

I went there with a party of 20. The Blooming onion was greasy and dark as though it was fried in old grease. My drink did not have a kick, so I will assume it was weak. They did not have the ingredients for the cinnamon old fashion, so I was really disappointed that I could not try it. I thought we would have had music or at least the TV on since we were in the side off room. Dannie our waitress was wonderful THANK YOU Daniel I did enjoy the house salad and salmon toowomba

1 Star – Food/Service (Updated)
Went for lunch. Ordered the French Onion Sirloin entree. (See pictures.) This is what ridiculous looks like. In the pic, the metal cup (typically used for condiments), contained the soup. (Yesss!) The pic shows exactly how it came. No joke. They called it a ‘mini’ soup. Whaa…? The soup/sauce wasn’t even filled to the top. The salad dressing cup (side-by-side in pic) had more in it. My friends and I were a bit speechless. I could NOT even believe they were serious. (They were. I did not even get a spoon. But then why would I need one?!)
Additionally, I asked for mashed potatoes. Technically, I guess, it was mashed–into a contained that gave it the dome shape. NO DAIRY OF ANY KIND was involved in making it. The sirloin was a bit tough, and everything tasted like it had no-to-little seasoning. My sister-friend ordered the same dish. She did not even finish it. I barely ate mine and got it boxed figuring I would ‘fix it’ at home. Not sure if I will even bother. Lastly, our waiter was very average. Think her name was Toni. She did not: come by much, ask us how our meal was, and/or whether we wanted anything else (i.e. dessert etc.). Forgot to bring things we requested. My friend ordered a drink that never came. Only positive in this whole experience–and reason for the rating–the bread was good.
Unsurprisingly, I will not be back. (Two thumbs down)
UPDATE: I have recently seen posted pics of the referred soup. Nothing came in the sized container we received. It makes our experience all the more outrageous.

On 6/01/2022 I walked in with my daughter for dinner. Appetizer good. Bread good. But when they brought my Victoria’s steak the mix vegetables it made loss my appetite. they were smelling, rotten vegetables. They acted as though they were cooking other ones but they were same ones back on different plate. They brought back another for third time but definitely I was getting sick on top of the brought the third ones tasting rotten olive oil. I swear God I almost blew my personal fuse. Disgusting service.

I went to the Laurel location last Wednesday 11/5 to grab dinner for myself, it was my birthday. I wanted to take my food to go so I grabbed a seat at the bar. I asked the bartender what was the best steak they had, she told it was the Delmonico. I ordered the dinner with a side of grilled shrimp added. I also ordered a drink and a shot while I waited for my food to be prepared. As I sat and waited I had to constantly swat away gnats. I will say once the bartender realized she cleared away the dirty glasses and began to wipe around. I will say the bartender was lovely-kind, she offered me a free dessert for my birthday. When I received my food, I finished my drink and requested my check. I was given a handheld device to pay on, it also had a survey to complete which I didn’t a bit hesitantly (I didn’t really know how to answer honestly because my food was to go so I hadn’t even tried it or really opened it up to take a good look)— I completed it though. Long story short when I got home my order of shrimp was not there. I didn’t realize it until much later when I looked at my receipt and realized that I did order shrimp with my dinner. So I called the next day unable to receive assistance because the manager was not in. I called the following day and could not receive assistance because the manager that could provide a refund was not in. Today is 11/11, I have called multiple times and left my contact information, still nothing. I will have go to the location on my day off to speak with the/a manager to obtain my refund. Not being petty but it’s principle. I want what I paid for and since I did not get it please give me money back—simple. As far as the food I did receive, I thoroughly enjoyed my steak, the sides (mac n cheese + broccoli) mediocre for the taste of the mac n cheese. The drink at the bar was premixed and weak, I had to get a shot to make it what a mixed drink should be. Most of all the gnats were too much. I know it’s a bar area but I hate bugs especially inside around my food & drinks. The staff was lovely as far as being courteous is concerned. Outback has never been my go to place to eat and this experience besides the steak has not changed my mind.

Food was great, manager was great when they ran out of an item we ordered. However the bartender Naya had a bad attitude. Not a smile or how are you in sight. I guess she warmed up later in the service but I’d say she’s in the wrong profession. I’d like to think she just had an awful day.
