William our server was the best part of our visit, right from the start I knew he was going to be a great server because of his professionalism…then throw in his great personality….. He did not disappoint….Best server ever!
Our food was pretty good, after an appetizer I had steak and a baked potato, the baked potato wasn’t done all the way after telling William, he immediately went and got me another one. He recommended the chocolate thunder from down other, again right on the money. I recommend Outback Steakhouse and if you go… ask for William.

Update: 3/9/26. Hello, after posting my review the owner reached out for ny contact information. He called me, apologized for the misshap and offered to make it right. Mannnnnnnnn! Thats the right way to fix things. He’s a gentleman and I’m grateful. When I return to Outback for dinner, I’ll update with pictures. Any establishment can have an off day. So…I ordered the new pasta dish. It was cold and I needed it in my life. It’s supposed to come with cheese, shrimp, steak and sauce goodness. Refer to the picture fir what I received. I asked that the steak was medium rare. Door dash gave yiu the option to get extras at cost. I was good with the description as is si no customizations. I received dry past with steak nuggets. No cheese, no shrimp. I contacted them via FB messenger and got an immediate response that they would look into it and someone would contact me in 48 hours. Next day I was contacted requesting my contact information, which I immediately provided. Reached out again in 3 days, then a week. Nothing from them. I didn’t need a refund. I wanted them to make it right. So, I’m not angry, just disappointed. If management sees this from Outback, I hope they make it right.

Typical Outback restaurant quality. My son had 8 oz filet mignon and i had the ribs both were decent but not awesome. The rib tasted a little burnt and dry. The filet also appeared dry. The place was practically empty, but they sat all tables next to each other.

Probably one of the best experiences i have encountered at any OutBack steak house. Our server Elyse was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the service was great. Very friendly and kept our drinks filled and food came out in great time. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time and meal. When we return we hope to have the same server, Elyse , because she was fantastic. Made the experience so much more enjoyable.

First time to the Outback Steakhouse, a relative newcomer to the Middletown restaurant lineup. My companion and I dined on a Tuesday afternoon in July. We found the atmosphere clean, comfortable and inviting. Service was top notch. My companion ordered the coconut shrimp. While she enjoyed her meal, she found the coating was too thick. I ordered the 8 ounce sirloin medium well. It was prepared perfectly but the taste was off to me. The bread served with the meal was outstanding and the salads were larger than those provided by nearby Texas Roadhouse. My companion had the baked potato which was perfectly done & delicious. I had the onion soup, which came in a large crock and was very good. We both had the NY cheesecake which was very good. My companion had raspberry sauce over the cheesecake. I had chocolate sauce. Both were tasty. We chose not to opt for adult beverages with our meal to keep the cost down, and our choices were part of the Aussie 3 Course Meal.

My family was satisfied with their meals, so this review is strictly about my own experience — which was honestly bizarre and upsetting. Our waitress seemed polite on the surface, but everything she did felt like she was following some “fine print” rulebook and rushing to get out the door.

The moment that set the tone was her coming over not even two minutes after we took our first bites, asking if we needed a to‑go box. That’s not “checking in.” That’s basically telling the customer to hurry up and get out, just wrapped in fake politeness. Completely unacceptable.

She also came to the table every five minutes like she was hitting a quota, not because she actually cared. Yet when we actually needed something — like a drink refill — she was nowhere to be found and we waited way too long. If you’re going to hover, at least be useful.

The menu issues were another red flag. A reputable steakhouse shouldn’t have “off days” or need to fix basic menu problems multiple times. My daughter’s baked potato came with sour cream even though she clearly ordered it without. At least they corrected that.

My sirloin was the worst part. I ordered medium, which should have a warm pink center. What I got was blue rare — basically raw. The outside was seared like a tataki, but the steak was almost an inch thick. I can eat rare steak, but that’s not what I ordered, and sirloin is not a cut you serve like that. I didn’t even bother sending it back because I was already irritated and didn’t want to wait longer for their mistake.

Then the dessert came, and my cheesecake had a tiny dot of strawberry sauce while my family member’s was fully drizzled. At that point I genuinely wondered if I was being singled out. The final cherry on top was the waitress staring at me after I left an 11.5% tip — which was more than fair for the service I received. I tip based on experience, not guilt trips.

I’m not giving 1 star because I know people have rough days, but this experience was unacceptable and absolutely not what I expect from a place with this reputation.

Food preparation and taste is good. Steak done to requested temperature, chicken very tender & flavorful, and garlicky green beans very tasty (but they could have given you more green beans as photo shows small amount).

The servers were very nice and courteous, but they seem to be short staffed. While at the bar the patrons had to ask several times for silverware or other items. THhis was due to how busy the place was on veterans day.

I experienced the new Outback and appreciated the spacious layout. Enjoyed well-cooked steaks and an excellent blooming onion. Despite the crowd, we were seated promptly. Loved the koala on the wall also!! All round it was a great experience!

Went here last night 1/16/26 for a friend’s birthday. Party of 6. There was a wait but 15 minutes on a Friday, no biggie. Hostess let our party know our table was ready right around the 15 minute time mark. Our server came up, got our drink order and appetizers in and we settled in for our evening. This is when things started going downhill. Server forgot to ask the bar if they could make a drink and then brought everyone else’s drinks out and the blooming onion was raw. We kindly let our server know and said he had forgotten to ask about the drink but would put it in and let the manager know about the onion. Second round of drinks come out for everyone except the one that we were still waiting on. Manager comes over, says that she agreed the onion shouldn’t have come out of the kitchen and would be taking it off the bill. We brought up the fact that we were still waiting on 1 drink even though the rest of us had gotten our second round. She comped the drink as well. We thought okay, back on track. WRONG! Server came to get our dinner order then disappeared. Restaurant cleared out. Multiple tables now open, no wait list. Over an hour and 15 minutes for the dinner to come out. Didn’t see our server. Waited for silverware only brought 3 sets. Food was terrible and over salted, soup, burger , steaks, potatoes everything was covered in salt. Steaks were over cooked. Food was cold but plates were hot. We just asked for boxes and left. Will make the drive to the Dover location in the future!
