We had a fantastic experience at Outback Steakhouse in Lowell. Our waitress, Bridget, was amazing – attentive, kind, and truly on top of everything. Even when a side of mashed potatoes was initially forgotten, it wasn’t a big deal at all, as she and another team member quickly made it right. The manager, Shweta, also personally stopped by our table, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
The food was incredible. The steak and ribs were cooked perfectly – the ribs fell right off the bone, and the steak was medium just as requested. Our son absolutely loved the mac and cheese, and the staff was very patient and attentive with him, which we truly appreciated. My husband, who we were celebrating for his birthday, was surprised with a sweet, private happy birthday song and the Thunder From Down Under dessert, which was delicious. Our son also got a free dessert during this dining experience- what a treat!
With how expensive dining out has become, we’re more selective about where we go, and this location delivered. While the price point is typical for delicious steak and ribs- and delicious- you get what you pay for. The atmosphere was warm, family-friendly, not overly loud, and genuinely welcoming to guests of all backgrounds. Excellent service, excellent food, and a great place for families. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this location.

Despite my steak being overcooked, my server Emily fixed the problem and was incredibly warm and welcoming the entire time! Food was fixed in no time and had a great night. The candles for our birthday dessert was a perfect touch!

I placed an order for pick up, unfortunately when I got home, my bag ripped & all the food fell out. I instantly started crying as I already had a bad day. I called the restaurant expecting nothing to come of it but ALL of the staff& the manager Shweta were absolutely understanding and amazing!! She not only remade my order, but gave me 2 extra meals and dessert for my children! She even offered to send it through DoorDash. I’ve never had anyone go above & beyond the way they did. I couldn’t be more grateful, genuinely. Made my day 1000x better. Thank you!!

An overall very disappointing dinner. Service started really slow after we sat at a table that needed to be cleaned again. Waited again. We had the blooming shrimp, which was really good. Waited. Finally asked someone for ketchup, and it came back with something white in it.. maybe mayo, maybe worse. But no one came by for a while, so I could not fix it. On to ceasar salads.. I did not like the taste of the dressing but my wife said it was good. I put the “butter” on the bread and that it was weird tasting. It looked weird and tasted weird. When the meal came, I added extra butter to my baked potato. It just changed the entire taste. I finally asked the waiter, and he said there was a shipment issue with real butter and that this was like country crock or similiar. I wouldn’t have added that crap to my baked potato… it just goes on. My wife liked her fillet/meal. I hated my meal steak, baked potato, and tough sirlion. I can honestly say never a bad meal at the outback until now – both thumbs down tonight.

Good food, kind fun waiter, clean bathrooms and nice eating environment.
Service wasn’t perfect as they forgot my main dish initially and were busy, but the waiter corrected and took care of us as promptly as he could.

Took my family there for Father’s Day; let me tell you, it was busy! Even though we had a reservation online, we still ended up waiting for at least half an hour. It was a special occasion and we understood. The servers were so busy and so patient. The only disappointment for us was that they didn’t have some of the items that we wanted. They ran out of stuffs. Other than that, food was delicious, the atmosphere was right. Yes the wait was long but that’s ok. It was our first time but we will go back there again for sure!

The food is amazing and definitely worth going for. We had the special wings along with the famous onion platter which tasted amazing. The steak is always wonderful and made with great flavor. The waitress attended us very well and was always checking in from time to time to see if we needed anything. The drinks were very good and had a good flavor, definitely freshly made!

We haven’t been to outback in 4 years since there isn’t any close by. Took my daughter the other day and had a great time. We sat in the bar and had Jake as our server and it was great.

We came as a family for dinner and our food was an hour late and came out ice cold – some items lukewarm at best. Not a single waiter stopped to ask us how our food was, and when I sent mine back to be reheated, not a single acknowledgement or apology. One of my family members was sick right as we left the restaurant. Disappointed with the service, food and overall experience.
