We just came from dinner at Outback Bar & Grill. Sandy and Steve have figured out the best pizza recipe and everyone we take there agree. Crispy crust, tasty toppings and the stringiest mozzarella cheese! Personal fave is Chicken Bacon Ranch but we like many of the others on menu. We have not tried any other food except French fries, which were excellent. We also love that they carry South Shore Brewery’s Nut Brown on tap, along with several others. We dine there nearly every time we’re in the Hayward area.

Haven’t been here for a few years; atmosphere hadn’t changed a bit! It was almost 6:00 on a Friday night, bar was full and tables quickly filled up. Our pizza came before our first beer was gone; spicy (not too though) sausage, sweet sauce & tons of cheese. Crust was prefrozen & premade, would of been stellar with a fresher crust, but delicious nonetheless. My old fashion was the best; such a pain to make when you have a busy bar! Service was efficient considering there were only two people working and a busy place. Friendly patrons…strangers giving kids quarters for game machine, friendly conversations, helping each others with to go containers and total strangers paid our entire bill!

My husband is a “connoisseur” of pizza, traditional or specialty, he always has an opinion. After hearing about this place by 2 different family friends, it was time to put it to the test. It was by far the best buffalo chicken bacon pizza we have ever had to date – even the ranch wad 10/10. Clean, great service and even better company!

Ordered a BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pizza. Very good pizza. The pizza was well done ( cheese bubbly brown ). They have a nice selection of varieties as I’m anxious to try more. Service was friendly and inviting. Place is cozy but a little on the smaller side ( no pun intended). I love the option of eating there or ordering to take home.

Great place east of Minong or west of Hayward on Hwy 77. Love their Bloody Mary drinks and the Pizzas are second to none!!(-:. Went back again and we loved the pizza custom made by request . Great drink and atmosphere. And the scenery upnorth is awesome! .

We were looking for pizza a day after our Birkie in this no snow Winter and came across the Outback. It is a small bar and pizza place that we thoroughly enjoyed. The pizza was great. Had a good conversation with the bartenders. We will be back next year for sure.

Delicious pizza. I’ve eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The wait for your meal can be long,but again they are short on help. So get yourself a nice drink and relax and enjoy your time here. The food is worth the wait. Will go again soon.

This is a small place with the “up north” feel to it. The owners are friendly, and the people I`ve met there are also. The pizza is probably the best in the Hayward area, and the bloody mary they make is top of the line! The food and drinks are priced for the working man and family. No scrimping on the drinks or food quality to boot! The place does get crowded at times, but hay, that is a good sign just by itself! If you are in the area, do not pass this place up.You`ll be happy you went.
