We tried this for the first time and it is hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had!!! I eat a lot out at our local restaurants and I was blown away with how good this food really was…. anyone who knows me knows I’m really picky with my food and I literally have nothing bad to say!!! The cornbread waffles and chicken was spectacular and the Mac and cheese was so delicious!!! Thank you for great food!!!!

Stopped into this place for lunch after discovering it on Google Maps. Happy to support new local business and a fan of carribean food! They were out of some things, which caused some shuffling when time to order, and in the end we ended up with Chicken Tostones, Pork Tostones, a ‘Small Plate’ with pork (pork, cabbage salad, and rice and beans), and beef empanadas. No complaints on the food. My Pork Tostones were excellent and I highly recommend! Tasty, fresh ingredients. Very filling portion as well. The empanadas themselves were quite good and chimichurri sauce with them was average. Bright tropical feel inside and friendly service. We waited a long time for the food and between being waited on, so that’s about all that bumps this from five stars to four.

I nearly cried when I first came here- the colors, smells and music reminded me of home! I grew up downtown Buffalo surrounded by culture and delicious meals from all over the world- soul food and Caribbean has a major soft spot in my heart! Grits baby! We went here on a busy Arts Walk night. In spite of having a full restaurant the service and food were both good. There was a nice variety of offerings on the menu. The food was very fresh and delicious. We’ll be back.
