Cute lil diner, the food is amazingly flavorful, the restaurant is very clean and the prices are reasonable. We came in right before close and the cook was my server, we chatted it up and he explained how everything down to the sauces are made fresh in the restaurant. If your looking for fresh, real home-cooked food, this is your spot. They are a breakfast & lunch spot, so they close at 2pm.

Honestly a cozy and relaxing spot that feels like home. We got breakfast and would definitely recommend the Hotcake special. They also have a diabetic section on their menu which is so considerate. We’ll definitely be coming back in the near future !

Wonderful place! Decor is cozy and warm, service was incredible. I felt like a regular despite never being here before. We had the country fried steak, and the carne asada breakfast and both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I knew I was going to give them my business when I saw a one-star review where someone complained that they helped out an unhoused man. That’s the kind of business I want to support!!! 10/10 they made regulars of us today.

This place was recommended.. I was excited to surprise my wife for breakfast. (we usually go to Mission Grove) However I was not greeted and Had to witness the Hostess completely forget to say anything or acknowledge me whatsoever lol but the homeless guy (wanted free drink) tells her to assist me first lol. No it’s ok she said let’s get the tea you want first “ but I spent 40 dollars not far away at you competition and the Hostess smiled as you entered Money pays the bills and the owner is losing customers with sorry help ignoring customers I will due business at Cactus Cantina Mission Grove Riverside Never a negative vibe since 1998 and clean Sunnymead Business Owners sorry to say will not survive this business practice BYW just one table was occupied on a Sunday Why not help me on a to go and take the business and gain a new customer
