I hate leaving reviews like this, especially for a mom and pop shop. We ate breakfast there on our way home. The restaurant was old and not very clean. Our server was sick but she did her best. The men’s toilet hadn’t been flushed because it was broken. The food was okay but maybe it’s just their breakfast. We wouldn’t go back.

Place big order online , which included crab cakes. But instead of a crab cake I had greasy flour cake with crab. Service sucked as when I called to complain they said they would talk to a manager and would call me back in 5 minutes and never did . Then I called them back in a hour from then and wouldn’t do anything for me , mind you I spent over 65 dollars at this place. Included are pictures of said flour cake !!!!

I have dined at this establishment a time or two before, but on this particular day, it was unreal . My husband and I arrived, ordered drinks and it went downhill from there. The waitress started off by bringing our drinks to our table, carrying them with her hands covering the tops of the glasses (very unsanitary); and not to mention they are unlidded cups. Upon tasting the drinks (pepsi), it was super sweet and had little ice. We both opted for another beverage.
Before getting her attention to do so, she had used a nasal spray and used her hand several times to remove excess drops from her nose. She also had in the meantime, grabbed a cleaning rag and taken the dish away from the only other customer in the restaurant. She’d taken our order shortly after getting our drinks. I informed her of the drinks being sweet and asked for a different beverage for the two of us. She obliged, stating the sprite was her drink of choice, in which I opted for. My husband chose differently.
Being as she’d carried our drinks inappropriately, we watched her more carefully throughout the dining experience. Let’s just say, I’m glad we did!! As she filled our cups with ice, little fell. Maybe a piece or two fell, then nothing. She repeated that process until maybe 10 pieces had fallen for the first cup, shook it up and filled it with my husband’s beverage. She proceeded to fill my cup in the same manner, but ended up getting less ice. What I saw next blew my mind .
After maybe two pieces of ice had fallen into my cup, it appeared that she’d finally gotten the memo that maybe the machine was empty. Then…she took her hand and reached into my cup . Mind you, we watched all the previous actions; using nose spray and wiping away excess with her bare hand, grabbing a cloth to wipe a table, taking away another person’s dish and not once washing her hands!!! I was in disbelief, immediately looking to my husband to confirm he’d seen it too. He responded, “yes I saw it, and I’m ready to go if you are”.
It gets worse unfortunately!! After reaching into my cup for whatever unknown reason, she goes around the corner out of sight with my cup. When she returned from around the corner, she’s now chewing ice and my cup is more full with ice. She then fills it with beverage and walks it over to our table. She began speaking and ice flew onto our table (omg). So, did she dig into the machine she retrieved more ice from to get what she was now chewing on, or my cup once she filled it ♀️ ?? I immediately questioned her about sticking her hand in my cup. She said, “no, I didn’t do that”. Then she motioned as to what she did; which literally was showing her hand reaching into the cup!! She had the audacity to ask if I’d like another. And yes, she carried the cups in the same manner, hands over the top!! Not answering, she took the beverage away for a third time and returned placing it on the table.
At this point, only a fool would drink it. Especially having taken it out of our sights. No!! She walked away and went to check on the food. When she returned, she brought out a white frothy looking soup. Mind you, I ordered beef soup of the day! She saw the look on my face and I asked, “what is this”? She said, “onion soup”. She said, “I told them beef but they may not have understood me”. So, she asked me…”do you want it”? I said no I don’t want it. Matter of fact, cancel the order and my husband and I left!
Now, I know some will say…just eat at home. Others will say, if you knew what your were getting from other places, you wouldn’t eat there either. However, if I chose to spend my money, don’t compromise us! Cross contamination and unsanitary staff is a means to destruction. Integrity is doing what’s right even when no one’s watching. Be mindful of your environments and staff while dining. I will not be dining here again!

My wife and I arrived at Our Place around 4:30. We went in, got seated and the waiter asked us what kind of drinks would we like. We said pepsi and she went to get the drinks and returned to our table. When she left, she started to clean another table. Upon sipping the soda, it was super sweet and had little ice. Also, she carried our drinks with her hands covering the top of each cup (no lids). When she finally got back to our table we asked her for different drinks. As she left our table she dump the drinks and put a nasal pump in her nose and then rubbed her nose several times; also scratching her ear and scalp. She failed to wash her hands at any time and took the same cups to get ice, but it was coming out slow. When filling the second cup with ice, she stuck half of her hand into our cup and proceeded to go around the corner because ice wasn’t falling. She then came back to us with our drinks and my wife told her that we both had seen her stick her hand in one of the cups. She lied straight to our face, but then said her hand was over top of the cups. She offered more drinks, then brought the wrong soup to our table and then expected for my wife to eat the wrong soup she didn’t even order. At that point we’d enough. That nasty waiter around our drinks and probably the food too and as we was about to leave she was talking to us at the table and she spit a couple of ice from her mouth on to our table and we got up and left.

Changed this review to what it should be at. We came here while on a work trip. We had arrived a little late so the grill being closed was partially understandable (30min before close). Got greeted by the owners which over all nice but hard to understand. They took our order and went in the back. While we waited on our food the owner came out and asked me to go to Google and type in the restaurant. Without me knowing what he was doing he filled out a 5 star review down the board and we hadn’t even gotten our food yet. Made it to our hotel and got ok food at best. Nothing was better than ok and mostly bad. The only redeeming item we got was the cake. Do not recommend!

Used to love this place years ago – went to try it again tonight and had to wait over 30 minutes for bland cold food and a burnt steak. Chicken was clearly reheated and rubbery to all hell. Waitress was lovely, but it’s clear the cooking staff don’t care. Never going here again unless I’m looking for food poisoning. If they take 30 minutes to cook broccoli only for it to be cold, they clearly aren’t gonna temperature check other things like meat.
