We almost always stop for brunch at Our Place Cafe when we’re passing through Wetumpka, and it’s become a favorite. The portions are huge in the best way, and the steak and eggs are consistently delicious. The grits really stand out- peppery, a little spicy, and full of flavor. The bloody Mary is solid, and the fun eclectic building gives the place so much personality. It’s a welcoming, feel good spot that makes our drive through town even better every time.

This use to be our favorite spot for 15+ years. Take my advice and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Overpriced and dirty. Glasses were dirty and drinks tasted disgusting I didn’t even finish mine. Food was horrible I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Poor service had to keep asking her for refills. Steak was tough definitely wasn’t worth the price. Me and my party decided we would never be back. All of us were disappointed on how bad this place has gone downhill we heard the horror stories going around about the new ownership and it turned out to be all true. It’s a shame such a known and great place has been ruined. It’s definitely not the same so sad.

We went for the first time tonight for our anniversary. Hands down one of the best places we’ve ever eaten. Focaccia bread was melt in your mouth soft and seasoned perfectly. Fried green tomatoes were just the right amount of tart with crispy breading and a tasty sauce with shrimp. My eggplant delacroix was fantastic, not soggy at all and the sauce was so creamy. My husband said his ribeye was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious flavor. Asparagus and fries were really good, too. Salads had house made dressing and our server (who was also excellent) let me pick a dessert on the house to take home. I went with the chocolate peanut butter pie and enjoyed it in my pajamas!

We had a large group (20) with a reservation but seemed to overwhelm both the kitchen and server. The food was good but most of our group found it cool to warm at best, definitely not hot. Two orders were somehow missed and came after everyone else finished. We will try again in a smaller group

I had a lovely night at Our Place. From the moment I walked in everyone was so welcoming. The host was warm and sat us down right away, all of the staff was so friendly and constantly checked in on us with smiles and hospitality. It had a very homey and family atmosphere to it and the service was top tier. The food was also delicious. I had the crab claws which were to die for. The fresh focaccia bread so warm and melted in your mouth. I recommend trying the bread with the sauce the crab claws came in. I also had the french onion soup and the trout. The trout was perfect and delicious in the sauce it came in. The food was so plentiful and filling. I was so full but still want to try more off the menu, we need to come back definitely. The Karson Key Lime Pie was also a great unique cocktail that I loved! The bartender Jacob was so kind to walk us through how it was made too. Such a great interactive experience I love the hospitality and kindness there.

Very pleased with our experience. We went around 10:30 on a Sunday. They have more mimosa flavors than any other local spot I’ve found. Blueberry is on point and I also had a strawberry. The waitress was very nice and said they can make all of the flavors, even banana, which would be interesting. The food was great. We got the crab cakes Benedict and the brunch burger. The atmosphere was cozy, friendly, cool. We will be back!!

I have never really liked stuffed crab. The mini stuffed crab appetizer at the cocktail event Monday 11/24 was awesome! The other appetizers and desserts were all good.
The event included recipes and small glasses of six different cocktails plus a full size of the drink you liked best.
Any time I have dinned here the food is always good.
It’s a must try if you haven’t ever been.

WOW…WOW…WOW. The food here is absolutely fantastic.
We had the Cajun catfish which was out of this world, my wife had the eggplant Delacroix out of this world! We also had fried green tomatoes that were fantastic because they had topped with Cajun shrimp.
Jamie was our server and she was amazing.
Atmosphere is outstanding and it’s just a very comfortable place and what’s even more amazing as the chairs are so comfortable sitting, and we don’t wanna leave.
