Opened in January 2021, Our Daily Bread Bakery & Bistro offers a taste of France in the heart of Vinton. My first restaurant stop in Roanoke, during my first time visiting this city, and it was a great one! I was able to bring my laptop in and work for a bit with their great wifi, while also enjoying their great food and excellent customer service!! The people working there were sooo nice, friendly, and attentive. For food, I ordered the French Toast Platter, with bacon for the meat option, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. All of it was Also had their freshly squeezed orange juice — some of the best I’ve tasted!! — and, to top it all off, their Moroccan Mint Green Tea, also delish. Everything was delish!! I would definitely recommend and go again!!

I can’t praise this beautiful place enough! We happened to find it by chance while wandering downtown Vinton and I am so glad we chose here!!!!!
I will definitely be returning! The food was fabulous and fresh with perfect portions. The staff here is kind and uplifting, patient and helpful. Please give them a try if you’re in the area. Established in 2020, they are now open 7 days a week and just opened a 2nd location. I hope they are here to stay because this could be a regular spot so that I can try everything!
The duck eggs Benedict was delicious and prepared perfectly. I ordered the Foccasia turkey and avocado sandwich with a side of ratatouille. Perfect combo.

I’ve been here quite a few times because I live so close. The food and service is always top notch! I love the coffee and latte options. It is always nice and hot when I get my food and drink. Very welcoming atmosphere.

I love the food here but sometimes It tastes the smallest bit dry. Something I would recommend for there to be soft music playing in the background, it would greatly impact the environment. The service is excellent and they are very patient

I started this day out with an “it’s-going-to-be-one-of-those-days” attitude, so I decided to treat my poor perspective with some carbohydrates. Well, I’m so glad that I did. After an amazing breakfast I now have an “I’m-going-to-slay-this-day” perspective.
I ordered a mushroom and bacon omelette with wheat toast and added a pancake and had black coffee to drink. The service was fantastic! Both the waiter and waitress were very attentive but not overly attentive and both were very soft spoken and pleasant. The food was absolutely on-point. Perfectly sized portions, I ate every single bite on my plate and felt just right full after. The coffee is excellent and I plan on going back to purchase some bags to bring back home, I’ve lived in Vinton for 5 years and this was my first time at this restaurant. Needless to say, I will be returning for a weekly breakfast treat. I look forward to trying all the unique items on the menu. Keep it up, Yall

Wonderful bakery and bistro featuring French cuisine. Everything is made fresh daily. I personally LOVE the spinach feta quiche and usually buy the entire pie to eat at home. The cakes are amazing as are all the baked desserts and breads.

This is my favorite brunch and dessert place. The staff is really friendly. I enjoy getting the duck benedict and sharing a french toast. The Chef does an excellent job cooking and with presentation. They have excellent coffee too.

Loved this place so much we went back the next day! The service is friendly and efficient. The food is delicious without being pretentious. French style omelette was perfect, as were my poached eggs. I highly recommend the almond crunch cake and the fresh squeezed OJ (maybe not together, but you do you).
