The food was as fresh as it gets. The pizza was the best sausage green pepper and onion I have ever had. The falafel was bangin and the chicken shawarma was completely delicious. Yes I ate all that….and my beautiful wife’s hoagie was the best she has ever had. All the dough and bread was fresh along with the meats and veggies. The owner was flipping the pizza dough after we ordered….what a difference the expensive flour made… They use an imported Italian flour which doesn’t weigh heavy in your gut. My wife was actually able to finish her whole sub. Super delicious, Super fresh and will definitely be back when we are passing through again. Great Job Ötzi. The owners are super nice and genuine. They checked in on us and made sure we were happy customers. YOU MUST EAT HERE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!! ENJOY

I stopped in on a Friday night to have a meal and was not disappointed. The pizza crust was among the best I’ve had before. We also ate a large, well dressed salad and an Italian Cold Cut sub which came on a wonderful roll. My only regret was the bread pudding had sold out. I guess I need to get their earlier in the evening next time . I will add that the staff was friendly and accommodating.

This place is PHENOMENAL and exactly what Carroll County needs!! The gentleman worker- who I would assume was the owner or manager – was sooooo incredibly helpful and kind. We got the hummus, Italian sub, the pizza, and the chicken shwarma pita. It was all phenomenal!!! The hummus and pita was absolutely out of this world. The Italian sub was possibly the best I have ever had and the pizza was 10/10. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and the staff was sooooo kind. Idk why I didn’t take a photo of everything – probably because I was so excited to dig in!!!

Delicious food, great deli selection and very personable staff. The pita is made fresh in house and can’t be beat! The specialty goods market was fun to explore as well.

Great new little place. Had the Tabbouleh with some nice fresh pita which was very tasty. Greek salad was perfect. Also had the Chèvre Tomate which was a great sandwich. Only comment would be a little more tomato and a little less goat cheese. Friendly staff.

Both sandwiches i have had here are really fabulous. Ive had the chicken shwarma which i loved. Yesterday i googled the best itialian sub in Eldersburg and this came up. I also saw a recommendation for it from the sandwich gurus and also on the Frederick Fatty site. I decided to give it a chance, and I ordered toasted with a side of mayo. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!! So good. Highly recommend. I went back and got it again today.

I’ve been here many times and I will be going back often! Delicious food, I highly recommend the breakfast or Pide pizza. The feta, hummus and cannoli dip are also amazing. Their sandwich bread is great too. They also have a deli and grocery.
I go with my partner and we get a sandwich and a pizza and it’s perfect.

My wife and I often go here for carryout lunch or dinner. The food is OUTSTANDING! The Italian chef salad, and that incredible dressing are amazing! We just had lunch there and the special sandwich was Greek meatballs in a pita w/cucumber/dill/ a special sauce and was incredible! I usually get Al’s Hoagie but wanted to try something different, and was not disappointed!

The restaurant lacks charm. It is rather austere inside. So, if you are looking for a fancy place to have a European meal, this is not the place. HOWEVER, the food and people more than make up for the lack of atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Mr. Dom was hard at work at the wood fired brick oven. He offered a very friendly greeting while we worked his magic with the pizzas and other oven baked dishes. We took time to look at the market before ordering our food. There are lots of interesting items from around Europe. My daughter, who is learning a lot about and trying her hand at authentic Italian cooking, was amazed at some of the prices. I am sure she will be shopping there in the future for her specialty cheeses, meats and pastas.
We ordered the Maaquoda appetizer (not my favorite, but the family liked it), a Quattro Stagioni “Four Seasons” pizza, Pide Flatbread and a Shawarma. Everything was great! All the food had that unmistakable “made fresh” quality. This is definitely not like American restaurant food. The taste of the food made me feel like I was in Europe again. You can see what we ordered in the photos except for the Maaquoda and half the Shawarma. The other half was gone before I could get my camera going. 🙂
We will definitely be back. I recommend giving it a try if you want to experience fresh made food like you can get in European cafes.
