We ordered the seared salmon sushi (2pc), the steak and salmon teriyaki, and the tonkatsu curry rice. The seared salmon sushi was easily my favorite—so fresh and buttery, it practically melted in my mouth. The steak and salmon teriyaki had great flavor. The steak was a bit chewier than I’d prefer, but the salmon was tender and cooked just right. The tonkatsu curry rice came out piping hot with a crispy crust on the outside and juicy pork on the inside. The curry had a comforting, mildly sweet taste and paired perfectly with the rice.
Service was friendly and attentive, and our drinks came out quickly with plenty of ice. Overall, it was a chill lunch and I’d definitely come back to try more of their menu.
The good performance to serve beef sushi was good. The server cooked the slice of beef and put it on the rice right in front of me. But not sure if a piece of sushi is worth over 4 dollars..
6 pcs basic sushi plate and seafood don were quite disappointing. In terms of sushi,I think about slices of raw fish more than frozen thawed shrimps and fake crab meats… Both menus contained small portions of salmon, again, made me think if this was a reasonable price.
Porkbelly ramen was good. Noodles weren’t soggy, and the broth had some kicks to feel the spice.
Serving was slow, although the dining hall wasn’t packed..
Sukiyaki tasted great, but I don’t know if they washed the vegetables because I bit into some sand or something when I had the vegetable.
Every dish was on the smaller side. Tonkatsu ramen was super salty. The bowl is smaller than what I’m used to at many other Japanese restaurants. I could not drink the broth at all.
