We had an amazing experience at this Cuban restaurant — from start to finish, it was warm, welcoming, and delicious in every way. We had a reservation and were greeted promptly with friendly service. Our server, Malia, was absolutely fantastic. She took time to walk us through her favorite drinks and dishes, which made our evening feel even more personalized.
My husband is a rum enthusiast, and he was thrilled to see a curated selection from around the world — not your typical mass-produced brands. We were lucky to have Justin stop by our table, and he gave us what felt like a mini masterclass on rum and the restaurant’s history. He’s such a fun and knowledgeable guy — his recommendations for both food and drinks were spot on!
We started with some unforgettable appetizers. The ceviche was a standout — the smoky flavor of the watermelon was such a unique and refreshing twist. The potatoes with andouille sauce delivered a bold punch of flavor, all packed into a crispy, satisfying potato “vessel.”
For mains, I had the lechón, which was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned — it instantly transported me back to Guavate in Puerto Rico. The rice was flavorful, but the beans? Truly out of world.
My husband went with the ropa vieja, and it did not disappoint — the tomato-based sauce was rich and deeply developed, and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender.
To top it all off, we shared the toasted coconut rum cake — and what a show! The tableside flambé of the lemon curd was dramatic and delicious. It was a fantastic night out, full of flavor, fun, and great company. We’ll definitely be back!

If you’re in the Orlando area, venture over to this amazing little gem. Dinner size food options are offered and the cuisine is amazing. You have to venture into the cocktail experience here. A mixologists approach to the cocktail is taken as fresh ingredients are prepared in-house. Drinks are deliciously well balanced and pair well with the cuisine. Some beer selections are offered. Definitely stop in and experience great customer service and amazing food and cocktails. I will definitely pay this spot multiple return visits, so I’ll see you there. Bon Appe’tit and cheers!

Parking can be a bit limited since it’s shared, but with good timing it wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, a warm, relaxed spot with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Highly recommended

If you love RUM – look no further! You will fall in love with this place. You can count on consistent skillfully and artistically made drinks. Drinks are well balanced and the bartenders are very knowledgeable on the vast selection they offer. The place only serves great food but is also esthetically charming. If you are a local or passing through our town – THIS IS A MUST!!! I promise you will make the best memories here.

I loved Otto’s. Reservations were definitely needed here. The atmosphere is beautiful but it gets loud because of the tile floors. The food was fantastic overall. I wish the orange tree leches had more orange flavor, it was basically a plain tres leches. The Ropa Vieja is delicious, very soft and juicy. The appetizers were refreshing and well balanced. Can’t wait to go back!

It was my first time coming to Otto’s, and I had a freaking blast! Frank took such good care of us and made the BEST DRINKS EVER! We met the owners 2/3 of the owners and they were lovely. Music was amazing, food was even better and omg those drink were perfect. The staff was so nice and the atmosphere was very laid back. Staff looked happy to be there, I loved it! Def coming back

This restaurant had a great ambiance. Our sever was so sweet and answered any questions we had. The oysters were delicious but very small in size. The rest of the food items we tried were not to our taste liking. Also side note finding parking is almost impossible. Overall I am glad to have experienced ottos.

We had dinner on a Saturday night, and it easily made our list of all-time best restaurant experiences. It started with our exceptional server, Taylor. She was warm, attentive, and gave us spot-on recommendations. We started with the ceviche and the hamachi tiradito—both fresh, bright, and beautifully presented. For the main, we had the ropa vieja, and it was absolutely outstanding—rich, flavorful, and perfectly tender. Even the rice was next-level good. The cocktails were another highlight—creative, well-balanced, and totally deserving of their accolades. We normally don’t do dessert, but Taylor recommended the tres leches cake. OMG–incredible! Otto’s delivers a high-end dining experience without a hint of pretension. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and you can tell every detail is crafted with care. We’ll absolutely be back—with friends and family in tow. A must-visit in Orlando.

Stopped in for Magical Dining. Was a bit skeptical because of the reviews but so glad I went! Everything tasted great! The server was friendly and knowledgeable. A little more attentive would have been nice as we did have to flag our server down a few times. Would def recommend!
