The sides are amazing try their okra and bbq beans. The place hasn’t been busy the few times we have come. The taste of the brisket is good, but it was really cold. The sausage was also cold and the taste was okay. It’s a really clean shop. The workers are fast and efficient, but not really friendly. It’s an okay place if you want quick city bbq. Also the servings are huge! We ended up throwing our leftovers away just out of safety.

Have you ever really wanted to like a place? I work in the area and I decided to do curbside at Otto’s today after that horrible review I read. I come completely unbiased as a first time Diner. My experience with the young lady who brought my meal out was completely positive as she was friendly on the phone and friendly when she brought my food. I ordered sliced brisket sausage a house salad with ranch dressing and green beans. The house salad was completely fresh and enjoyable. The green beans were perfectly bacon and seasoned and were delicious. The sausage was a mid- the lower-grade sausage for my personal taste but it still had a good taste to it. The only issue I had was the brisket was almost colorless. I don’t eat barbecue sauce so it had to be good and be able to stand on its own and I can’t honestly say it did. I didn’t see a speckle of seasoning. I didn’t taste a hickory or smoked taste in it either it was very Bland. I really want to like you guys and I believe with a little bit of adjustment with whoever your brisket guy is and being mindful of the appearance and taste you guys could do super awesome. I’m still rooting for you and I know it’s not easy to run a business. Your location is good.

Average BBQ and an average price. I was a little nervous after reading some reviews that seem to be very mixed about this place. I had the brisket and ribs plate with onion rings and potato salad. Both of the meats were a little dry. The flavor of both was good though. The onion rings are great, but you pay a dollar up charge for them. The potato salad was like a mustardy mashed potato, tasty but again not hot or cold but just kind of a sitting around temperature.

Thank you Otto’s for being so welcoming to host our car show. The food was amazing, staff was friendly, and everyone there had a great time. Definitely a place to go for good food and people. We will be back!

I’ve been a fan of Otto’s for some time. I often ate ate the original location on Memorial drive. Either this place is no longer affiliated with the original or they have gone way, way downhill.
I purchased to go; 2 Two meat plates with brisket and ribs. The brisket was dry, no smoke ring, bland and little flavor. The ribs were seasoned with some kind of sweet sauce, they were tough and small. The sauce that was put on the side, (which is the way it should be), tasted as if it came straight out of a bottle.
Lastly, I realize that the State opened up 100% and masks are not mandated, however I believe that it’s the responsible thing to do. Each customer that I saw come in had a mask on. The person prepping my order wore a mask. The person that took my order was NOT wearing a mask. Under health and safety on their google listing it states masks required. Is he special?

When I arrived, the restaurant only had one couple there but it was only 4:00 pm. Still, it took them a while to notice me and take my order. But once they did, their bilingual staff was friendly and very helpful. Though their sauce was a favorite to my personal taste buds, the meat was above average. I took the order to go, but the restaurant looked very clean, inviting, modern, and appropriately decorated. Prices were very fair as well.

Won’t go back. I ordered a 3 meat plate with potato salad and beans. The 3 meats were colder than warm, in other words I like my food hot but warm is still acceptable but the meats and the beans on this particular day were not even warm. The potato salad tasted like it was already bad. I manage a food establishment myself, so many times I go out to eat just to compare with my place. The place was clean and the service was good, the condiments bar was clean and everything looked fresh and the restroom also was kept up good. All in all though I won’t go back, I went in hungry and I left hungry. Perhaps it just happened to be a bad day.

I only have this star in order to write a review, Otto’s use to be a really good place to come and eat. This is the 3rd time I’ve come here to eat and the food was nasty. The food was cold and tasteless. The service was worst the ladies look as if they really didn’t want to be there are us to be there as well. I don’t know maybe the owner has changed, I don’t see how you could serve someone a cold baked potato, then to give me cold barbecue sauce to go on top made it even more unbearable. Maybe Gordon Ramsey needs to come in to help them. The broccoli rice ugh !!!! I’m very disappointed.
