Ottoburger is the original pasture-to-plate burger shop. Its setting is a 1930’s impeccably renovated brick building in Hopewell, NJ. Ottoburger operates as a Pop-Up counter service restaurant at Hopewell Fare. All ingredients in our burgers are sourced from our own farm and a small radius of surrounding farms. Our meat is 100% pasture-raised. Our bread, condiments and sauces are made in house. We are open

Had such a fantastic time at this burger spot in Hopewell! The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. We ordered the Korzo and the Otto, and both were packed with amazing flavor. The sauces that came with them were a perfect match. The kids enjoyed the creamy mac and cheese, and the milkshakes were truly special — the chocolate cinnamon and orange cardamom had such unique tastes. Definitely a must-visit place!

Friday nite dinner at what is now called Hopewell Farmer’s Cafe. Great space with a cool retro vibe. We ordered Crispy Chicken Schnitzel and a Lamb Burger with Tatziki sauce. The food is locally sources and freshly prepared. All was delicious but our only suggestions would be as follows: the green beans were quite hard/undercooked and the Tatziki sauce in the burger was rather bland. There was seemingly no dill or mint (which is traditional) and the cucumbers were separate chunky pieces that were not incorporated into the Tatziki. Also, my preference for the purple onions would have been either to caramelize then or add the onions to the Tatziki sauce in much thinner pieces. As they were, they were very thick, uncooked pieces. Not my preference
Mashed potatoes and broiled beets were delicious as wer the sweet potato fries and the crispy chicken. All in all very good and would try again.

My kids and wife loved this place when they visited last time. They really wanted to come back here to taste burgers. Atmosphere was friendly, and there are many small things to see while waiting for foods. The second floor, the gallery, has quiet tables, many photos, and miniature and actual bikes. I particularly liked the teal colored classic pickup truck.
Burgers were tasty. Thick patties were cooked well as we ordered. My kids and me ordered burgers wrapped with deep fried thin dough (I forgot the name). I ordered a salad as the side dish, which was rare to see in a burger shop.
In addition, you can buy local made cheese, sausages, sourdough bread, etc., there.
I’d come again!

First time visit. Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. Had the Otto beef burger on homemade bun with local beet salad on side. Cole slaw was excellent! Started with chicken soup which was hearty and full of everything very good. My friend had the beatnick veggie burger with side salad. Wanted to do desert which looked fantastic but decided not to add the calories. Wil definitely be back to try the lamb and or brisket. Everything homemade. Ended with getting two large bones for the dogs at home.

My husband and I had dinner at Ottoburger last night, and every aspect of our experience was a 10/10. My husband got the Korzo burger on the signature fried langos bun (which was our waitress’ recommendation) and said it was the best burger he has ever had. I am gluten free and was incredibly impressed with my double brook burger on their homemade gluten free bun. Both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were also amazing. Additionally, we loved the simplicity of the local wine selections and enjoyed our bottle of Pinot Grigio with dinner.
A few other things to note: The restaurant is large, clean, and has a really cool retro vibe inside.. also nice to have the option to eat outside.
Our favorite part of this restaurant is the concept it is founded on — real, local, farm-to-table food.
Thank you Maria and Otto! We can’t wait to come back and can’t wait to continue to promote Ottoburger to our friends and family.

We keep ordering because we used to love Ottoburgers and haluski, but after all the management/location changes, it’s not the same anymore. Last time we dined in, it took an hour to get our order and we ended up missing a school play. Now, we ordered a take out and the burger bun is stale, dry and falls apart. A portion of haluski, on the other hand, is so small, it barely covers the bottom of a small plastic container. We wish them well, but we won’t be ordering again.

We initially came here just to have the milkshake but were greeted by such a rustic and warm atmosphere. Waitstaff were wonderful and the food was incredible. Just a little pricey but for the quality of food, it is understandable! Will definitely come back again!

Sorry, three disappointments is enough. The staff just can’t get things right. Ordered take out Koso burgers medium cooked. Got home and they gave me Otto burgers that were basically raw . The second time this has happened. On another occasion they substituted pork for beef without telling me. At least they reimbursed me for their mistake. Love to support local farm to table businesses, but if you order at this establishment, check your order before leaving.

Waited 2 hours for a burger on a Friday will never come here again understaffed poor management poor service mediocre food farm to table it felt I waited for the animal to be slaughtered before I was fed I’m a chef this is unacceptable . The burger deep fried itself was dry. The outer crust was like chewy tough leather. And the meat had fat chunks in the first bite I took. It was ok at best not worth the $ though. Vinegar pickled slaw not good way too much acidity. Mushy over fried sweet potato fries not good. Maybe it could have been better if it hadn’t sat in the kitchen for about 2 hours. Hire new management or close this place it’s a horrible experience. Also my mother’s salad was the last thing to come to the table two hours after we sat it was closing time almost 8 oclock and she’s just getting a plate of salad. She also ordered the soup of the day and that came in 45 minutes but was corn and tomato soup not the soup she ordered ???? Waitress said sorry we’re all out of that. Hmmm comp the soup maybe? Or offer something else (POOR SERVER TRAINING)! The people paying your bills won’t come back ! You’ve definitely lost any future business from me and shame on Brick for backing such a lousy establishment. Taste quality > Go to CHILIS the burgers are better and half the price and your fries won’t be mushy from sitting in the kitchen for 2 hours. What a joke ! O and the to go container was my fathers who was so tired of waiting that he packed up his food and left as soon as it came! Thanks for a horrific experience!
