They have a large outdoor space too – on a good weather day when there’s a cool breeze blowing, the experience of dining out here can be out worldly. The outdoor seating offers panoramic views of the area, Including the large swaths of the Ridge forest… Greenery as far as the eyes can see.
The food is decent – we had lamb chops, grilled chicken and their gourmet pizza, all of which were appetizing. A good selection of wines to go with your food – I tried ‘Ghungaroo’, a wine especially made for ITC hotels and named after the famed OG discotheq of Delhi, which used to be THE place to be in Delhi in the 90’s.
It is an upmarket place so expect an upmarket experience, service and prices.
We are pure vegetarians, and we made this extremely clear before placing our order. Despite clearly informing the staff that we would only have vegetarian food, our server, Gaurav, brought us a non-vegetarian dish. This is not a small oversight, this is a serious and unacceptable mistake.
What made the situation even worse was his attitude. Instead of apologizing immediately and correcting the error, he argued with us and insisted that the dish was vegetarian. There was no accountability, no courtesy, and not even a basic apology. Being served non-vegetarian food when you are a pure vegetarian is deeply upsetting, and to then be argued with about it is simply pathetic.
For a restaurant operating inside a prestigious hotel like ITC Maurya, this level of negligence and arrogance is shocking. Fine dining is not just about ambience, it is about respect, precision, and professionalism. None of that was reflected in our experience.
Gaurav completely ruined our evening and our dinner. What should have been a pleasant outing turned into frustration and disappointment. We left feeling unheard, disrespected, and upset.
Truly one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. Absolutely unacceptable.
They treated us not like guests but like family .
6/5 stars
I would socially like to thank the manager for recommendations and making it an amazing experience overall.
Very couterous staff and chefs
Amazing rooftop with artistic touch to everything they have in the restaurant.
Beautiful Sunday buffets too
The food was awesome and perfectly presented.
The head chef here Mr. Sharma seem to know the girl’s family, hence the awesome food and great presentation.
It’s a food of a kind with a very good ambience. They have a small wall fountain outside and nicely decorated shrubs which eventually is the reason of cool breeze.
Would recommend this place to everyone!
Upon reaching the hotel, with a RESERVED TABLE. The people at security mention that there is no parking available for restaurant reservation and asked to find parking elsewhere/main road. Is this even sensible or possible? To park just like that on the main road and get fined?
Left the “so called no parking place” and went to Taj instead. If you can’t offer a parking space just because of “A RESTAURANT RESERVATION” Don’t take reservations and keep the online platforms OFF. It can lead to disappointment and ruin someone’s birthday plans!
