Best home town local atmosphere anywhere around Meade County. Its just one of those places where hardworking, mid-West Americans go for hometown food with a hometown environment. Its dated for sure, but that’s all part of the charm. I recommend the Creek Burger. Tuesday night has a pizza special.

Used to enjoy dinner and a couple of beers with good friends at Otter Creek Tavern. It’s been a few years since I’ve been here. There must have been a change in ownership or management. The food has obviously been changed and is considerably lower quality. The service has also gone downhill. The waitress was nice and polite but couldn’t remember anything. Brought the wrong beer to a couple of us. We had a dozen people in our party. Three people didn’t get their food until after everyone else had finished eating. Empty bottles and empty cups filled the table and nothing was cleared from the table when we were finished eating. Almost everyone in our party has been here before and many have frequented Otter Creek over the years and agreed that the new ownership has lowered the standards. Disappointing.

Great employees! Staff makes the place a one of a kind hole in the wall bar that you wouldn’t want to miss out on. Crowd gets wild in the weekends if that’s your thing and mild old timers during the week. Pool and darts. Everything you except from a good watering hole. Recommend
