Ooo this place is actually really good! Our team stopped over here for lunch and we were all very satisfied with everything. They also had some interesting yuzu alcoholic beverages that I would have loved to try if I were not headed right back into work.. maybe next time when we’re back in this area again.

Love this restaurant. We know the owner, who is also the sushi chef, and we have been eating food from this restaurant but mostly order to go. It has plenty of items on the menu. I like the tempura. It is cooked nicely. The sashimi is fresh, and the hamachi roll is unique. The special ramen has thick chewy noodles, which is good. The soup is not that heavy. It is interesting that it has a scallop. It is yummy. Overall we are satisfied with our dinner.

This place has become our go-to sushi place. The owners Victor and Queenie always take good care of us. Yes sometimes the service is slow, but that’s a common issue with all restaurants post pandemic.
Food is excellent and we frequently come here (once or twice a week).
Reading the other reviews it’s surprising to me.
People that don’t often review and aren’t local guides dissing this place. Also two taps show that most of these reviewers only leave bad reviews, so that should tell you what kind of people they are.
Check out this sushi hole in a wall, you will not be disappointed.
Our favorite dishes include the shrimp and mushroom tempura, double hamachi roll, the classic spicy tuna roll.
They also do catering and their sashimi slices are THICK, check out the photo.

Otoko sushi has decent sushi and bento boxes as an option if you’re in the area.
My favorites would be the Fatty Tuna / Toro roll, and the assorted sashimi. Prices reflect the quality.
The parking is also much easier than the businesses that have only street parking across the track.

Terrible Experience and Rude Service
I came to this restaurant expecting a good experience, but I was completely disappointed. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. While waiting for my order, I politely asked to use the restroom, but they refused and told me to wait outside in a very dismissive manner.
On top of that, the wait time was much longer than expected. This restaurant clearly does not care about customer service or basic respect. I do not recommend this place and will not be coming back.

We sat at the sushi bar and the two chefs were very nice and helped us make our choices. We had several different rolls and all were fantastic. We also had the tempura cheesecake and it was outstanding. The servicE was excellent and prompt, the staff is friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

Otoko Sushi has become our family’s favorite. Located in the Nob Hill shopping center , we have enjoyed both lunch and dinner fare. My parents like to stick with their Bento Boxes with Tempura shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. My daughter is the Ramen lover and our server always remembers my daughter’s order and Ramune soda. She also favors the and they honor her request with pools of spicy broth with Udon or Ramen noodles with the absolutely freshest ingredients (pork, soft egg that would please Gudetama, and fish cake) As for me, I love the and rolls. Their Hamachi lovers roll combines both sushi grade yellow tail fresh and deep fried yellow tail. Their fish is so buttery, it melts on the tongue. Recently, they’ve added new and unique specials that are a fusion of Japanese and local favorites, including a Truffle Hamachi roll, a Warrior’s roll and Giant’s roll. This is truly an intimate family restaurant with high end flavors and quality.
