This corner bar and restaurant is just the sort of establishment to piss off whiney Yelp users, hence its current 1.5 star rating on that website. But if you go to a place that translates as “stubborn” it’s on you when you’re displeased with service enough not to enjoy your food. Sitting at the bar area is a delight, right in the center of the neighborhood’s Portuguese community. Beer and wine flows steadily, and all the food is delicious.

Went to dinner with my girlfriend, great food and amazing sangria. New owners and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Big portion meals and appetizers. Love the updated looks. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Especially the beef ribs with the rice and beans. Highly recommended. Waitresses are great especially Katheryn she ALWAYS goes above and beyond making sure my family and I are well taken care of and we continue to come back. Food is also reasonable with great portion sizes.

Stopped by today with my wife after a long hot day and it was awesome. Our food was super juicy and perfectly cooked. The space was comfortable even though it was jam packed. The staff was also very welcoming. Did I mention the food was AMAZING! We will definitely come back frequently. Highly recommend this hidden jewel.

Today I asked for a order but they didn’t gave me what I asked for. I asked for a combo but they just gave me chicken and pork ribs. I called them back to complain them that they just put me chicken and pork ribs and that beans that I asked for additional . In the end they blame me that it was my fault that they ask if we just want beans or rice etc. But the thing is that I wanted the combo with rice and French fries. And they tried to make me look bad just because I look younger. I am 20 years old and I think that this workers are good enough to serve in this restaurant. This is the last time I am buying food in this restaurant. I like the food there but not anymore and some food taste bad they aren’t good at all.
