Great place. My #1 noodles on the west side.
Place could use a little sprucing up but I still give it 5 statts because its the best noodles on the west side. Did I mention the front door needs servicing? Oh, did I mention the best noodles on the west side?
Seriously they dont even have a trash can. But thats because they clean up after you! Yes, no kidding, best noodles on the west side.

Small college town noodle shop. 3 long tables (seats around 6), one low table (seats 4) and an L-shaped bar (seats around 6-7). Nothing fancy, just solid Japanese food when you arr hankering for comfort food!

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon for a late lunch in mid-April 2025. The place was completely empty. It was the weird time after lunch but before dinner. We had just checked into our hotel and walked to go get food.
We placed our order online for instore pickup. We arrived and got everything no problems. The restaurant was nicely decorate it was just weird cause it was completely empty.
They keep the soup broth separate when you do takeout which is nice so the noodles don’t get soggy. We were also able to reheat the broth in the hotel microwave too. It was a cold day and the 15 min walk back chilled a lot of the food. If we knew it was going to be empty, we would’ve brought the kids and eaten in the restaurant.
We ordered the pork belly ramen, char-sui ramen, pork tonkatsu ramen and kids miso soup ramen. The pork belly was just okay. It was really thick cut and some of it was a bit dry. The char-sui was the way to go. One of my kids was sad that they didn’t have the additional tonkatsu sauce for his pork cutlet in his ramen. The picky youngest ate his miso soup ramen no questions asked. All the broths were very thick and rich.
We would definitely eat from here again. There were a few other things on the menu we’d like to try. So maybe if we come back to the area to visit, this will be on our food option list.

It was pretty decent, but some of the dishes left a bit to be desired. Service was fast and polite, and the restaurant itself felt fairly clean. I got the Char Siu, the vegetable spring rolls, the teriyaki wings, and the gyoza. The Ramen dish was definitely the best part, if only just a little plain in flavor. The gyoza and spring rolls were good for appetizers. The teriyaki wings I felt could have been better – something about their texture was off putting – they just felt a little too soft.

Quite possibly the best vegetable roll I’ve ever had. And the Beef Curry Udon was tasty. The food wasn’t out in more than 5-7 minutes from sitting down, and it was all hot.

Good Otani Noodle. Enjoyed the Char Sui ramen (#1) with a coke. Flavor was very good and service was quick. Was a shame that the ramen came in single use plastic bowls instead of reusable ones.

snack time after museum was good we all haven’t had proper meals throughout the day, so everything was well and warm with char siu and an unagi don. good could be improved overall, but okay.

So my experience was amazing. The service was great didn’t wait long in line and food came out in under 15min. The food was amazing I had the spicy ramen and grilled eel both were cooked purfectly.the atmosphere was great tall dealings that made up for how small the place was. Seems like they do alot of business with how many people were in and out with togo orders. I’d come buy there ramen again and I would recommend this place. Only down side was no sake witch doesn’t effect stars
