We had a larger party for a family dinner. We’d made a reservation and the staff were prompt at having our tables ready as we arrived! The server at my table was Jay, he was INCREDIBLE! He was attentive, quick, and friendly while professional! He went above and beyond for us with no urging, going so far as to bring my sister and her husband a dessert on the house to celebrate their recent wedding even though they hadn’t ordered a dessert! Such a wonderful experience! I ordered the house garden salad with the beets on it, the vinaigrette added nice flavors to the fresh lettuce and cucumbers and beets. I also had the top sirloin with sautéed mushrooms. The meat was cooked just as I had requested, and the mashed potatoes were fluffy and creamy. The mushrooms were firmer than expected, which I didn’t mind! All of it was super good! I shared a couple appetizers with others at my table: the chicken tenders were very juicy and the batter on them had great flavor and crunch! I liked the white dipping sauce for them, I believe it was a type of ranch! The fries with them were also delicious. Another was the New Orleans prawns, wow those were fun! The sauce had a nice kick to it, not too much for me but definitely noticeable! The garlic bread with it was done nicely, not too crunchy. The calamari with the green sauce helped me enjoy it, I’m not a big calamari fan so having the sauce was good! The brussel sprouts were just solidly delicious, plain and simple! Also pictured in this review is the barbeque bacon cheeseburger, the Jumbo Prawn Butternut Risotto, and a pasta dish whose name I can’t remember, I think it was Westwood Pasta or something similar. We shared a brownie for dessert, very yummy!

What a great experience. We took our son our here to celebrate getting accepted to 5 colleges. A huge milestone for sure, but what made it really special was the card that the staff brought out for him. Completely unexpected and incredibly thoughtful. It was signed by everyone what a great experience. A+ on the customer service.

My husband and I just got voted #1 food cart in Portland in the Oregonian. We always go here to celebrate our big events because it is a fine dining experience at a very reasonable price. Creative dishes and cocktails mixed with the classics that will please the traditional crowd. Thanks so much to the staff for the card and desert.

We are here twice in a long weekend (brunch and a Monday dinner). Both times we were a large party (8 and 11). Our party size caused no problems. The service was stellar. A small flub on one brunch order was quickly remedied.

The Oswego Grill was absolutely amazing. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. It was actually the best I’ve had. Fresh, the aioli was great. For dinner, we had the grilled prawns with orzo. It had the best flavor. Jay was such a great server. He was personable, friendly, and on task. The place was packed, too. Now I know why, great food, excellent service, and such a wonderful atmosphere.. I am looking forward to our next visit there. The hostess was also very kind, I feel bad I didn’t get her name. Thank you, Oswego Grill, for such a perfect evening!

excellent service, our waitress was very kind and very attentive. I didn’t catch her name but she had dark longer hair and dark rimmed glasses and worked on the evening of 2/13. She was excellent.
the food was okay almost great. We ordered the calamari first and the squid tasted very fresh. Very very tender squid but unfortunately it could’ve had a crispier breaded coating. Next I ordered the filet mignon with jumbo prawn and risotto cake. The filet mignon was excellent. Very tender beef and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked by the chef, but the prawns were very salty. The mushroom risotto had exceptional flavor, very very tasty but I wish it was creamier though I understand it had to be drier to make it into a cake.
I also ordered a passion fruit spritzer and it was very tasty, not watered down at all but it could’ve had a bit more fizz for a spritzer.
Overall a 3.5 for the food, with an extra point for the great service

We celebrated a birthday here and all had a great time. Salads were delicious and steaks were spectacular! Service was very friendly and professional. Overall a great experience. I really appreciated the birthday welcome!!!
Ambiance is warm and friendly. Noise not an issue.

This was a lovely dining experience. We had a party of 9, and the service was surprisingly excellent! Usually, with larger parties it’s hard to get the waiter’s attention, get refills and your food comes out dry from the heat lamps. That was not the case. I wish I remembered the waiters name because he was amazing. Super attentive, very respectful and just outright a nice gentleman. The food was very good as well. It was one of those nights where you go out to eat and everything is just perfect. It was so refreshing to get this kind of ambiance, service and great food all in one place.

My colleague and I had dinner at Oswego Grill last night. The ambiance was excellent. We started with grilled Brussels sprouts as our appetizer. For the main course, I had the ribeye steak with sautéed mushrooms, while my colleague chose the top sirloin. The steaks were delicious, and the service was great! The only minor critique was that the sautéed mushrooms could have been seared a bit more. The dessert was very good as well.

We showed up near closing on a Friday night. We were seated right away and our meals came fast. The food presentation was gorgeous. We liked our meals but really enjoyed the donuts.
