Pre-kids we used to go to O’Sushi once in a while to dine in or to order takeout. However, life happens, so I only recently learned that management had changed since our last visit. Of course, I was very curious to go back and give it another try. Luckily, my mother-in-law enjoys sushi just as much as I do, so we decided to stop by for a nice lunch together. And I have to say, it was the best decision ever.
We picked the California and the Fish Roll Lunch Combo. Nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary but perfect for just the two of us, and absolutely tasty. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back for/ordering some of their specialty rolls and Korean dishes.
With this said, Canton has quite a view good sushi spots. However, for me personally, it’s not just about the food. So, what makes O’Sushi stand out for me (aside from the great food) is the super lovely services and cozy atmosphere. It’s actually one of the few places where I can see myself dine in on my own without feeling awkward or overwhelmed. Thank you.
Added bonus: as someone who is eating mostly plant-based, I was happy to see a lot of vegetarian/vegan friendly options–like the Vegetable Roll Combo on the lunch menu.

I will definitely be back! We had the rainbow roll, Mexican roll, and spicy California roll. The fish tasted fresh! Service was fast and nice. The atmosphere was pleasant and warm. There was nice gentle Christmas music playing. The restaurant was very clean! The ginger salad also hit the spot.

I can’t rate the atmosphere because I placed a takeout order but I’m very happy with what I received.
A friend of mine and I went here years ago and I enjoyed it then. The plaza parking lot is tight, but that’s not why you opt to, or not to, choose a restaurant to eat at.
I got the Tempura eel roll and the Green grass roll. The tempura roll was as I’d expected, the tempura the right amount of crunchy, and the toppings all tasted fresh, as expected. The green grass roll caught my eye with the seaweed salad topping, and I really enjoyed that addition to the roll.
I’d like to stop in and eat here again to see how the dine-in experience is at some point soon.

Amazing quality sushi. Has sake and other alcohol, too. Got the sushi sashimi combos, handrolls, and the katsu. Really impressed with this option in the area. The owners are also really kind and nice to talk to. Will be back.

What a fantastic, somewhat hidden, gem! I struggle to choose between O’Sushi and Aji Ten (just a couple hundred yards away) as both are very good. That said, O’Sushi breaks the decision deadlock anytime it’s frigid cold outside, since they offer piping hot Green Tea and (the only one in the area that I know of!) Hot Stone Bowl Bibimbap. This is the absolutely best style of Bibimbap you will ever have. You can stir and smooth it on the sides of the bowl, and in a few minutes you have a fried rice texture to the already wonderful dish. Nothing else warms you up on a winter day than this!
Service is not only very prompt, but super friendly. They are always happy to see you.

We typically drive outside Canton for Sushi. Decided to try O’Sushi again since it is under new ownership. We were quite pleasantly surprised by the service and food. Everything we ordered was great. We had miso soup, gyoza, Chicken Katsu Curry and a boatload of sushi. All was very good. The white tuna was some of the best we have had in MI. We typically do not care for speciality rolls, but tried the special Tuna Lover roll, and it was fantastic as well. The service was great and they are so welcoming. We will definitely be back.

This place is amazing!! I loved every single roll I got, and my group got a lot of rolls, even the appetizers were delicious and the staff was so friendly and nice and very welcoming. Totally worth coming here and I will be back!

I was in town for work. Luckily this was my first stop for dinner. The owner gave me the heads up on where to eat while I was in town, all great places. The sushi was on point as well! Can’t say enough good things about this place.

We were happily greeted by Sungmin as soon as we walked in and were seated right away.
Starting with appetizers we ordered the spicy edamame and crab Rangoon and they did not disappoint. The sushi was phenomenal. We ordered the Cancun roll, spicy California roll and the Las Vegas roll, and they each were bursting with flavor.
Although the food was phenomenal, that wasn’t even the best part of our experience. Sungmin made sure all of our needs were met. He ensured our drinks were always topped off and he was very attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy. He even gave us some Japanese candy as we were leaving. He is one of the greatest servers I’ve come across in my lifetime.
10/10 food. 10/10 service from Sungmin.

What a nice little place! I’m not gonna lie, I don’t like seafood. However I’m traveling for work and our group chose this sushi place so I had to go along. I was pleasantly surprised with the chicken teriyaki bowl I ordered, it was tasty! Our server Sue was super friendly and fast. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their sushi, everything was fresh. If I happen to be in Michigan again, I wouldn’t say no if I was asked to eat here again
