We ordered takeout from Osteria Procaccini after hearing a great deal of hype and made a point to visit after traveling from Ohio. As restaurant managers ourselves, we were genuinely looking forward to the experience and were willing to wait, expecting the quality to reflect the restaurant’s reputation. Unfortunately, it did not.
We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which arrived bland and overcooked, lacking both seasoning and texture. The lamb skewers were extremely tough and nearly impossible to chew. We also ordered the Nonna Flora Sandwich, which was advertised as coming with a choice of side; however, there was no option provided. Instead, it arrived drenched in what appeared to be coleslaw, with no mention of this on the menu. The excess moisture made the sandwich completely soggy and inedible.
The long wait time, combined with the poor execution of the food and unfriendly interaction at pickup, made this experience especially disappointing. Given the effort to visit and our background in the restaurant industry, we had hoped for much more. Maybe we ordered the wrong items. However, each one was extremely underwhelming and lacked flavor from such a highly reputable place. Unfortunately, the quality did not justify the hype, cost, or wait.

We came to Osteria on a Wednesday night with the kids and had a fantastic meal. Inside had a warm and cozy feel, making a great spot to enjoy dinner. We ordered the garlic Parmesan wings, garlic knots, Pizza Dora, and a margarita pizza—everything was delicious! The standout dishes were definitely the garlic Parmesan wings and the margarita pizza, both packed with great flavor. The pizza crusts were thin and crunchy, along with the sauce made it a great bite.
It was also a nice bonus that a couple of the items were on the happy hour menu, making them an even better deal. The quality of the food, combined with reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere, makes this a spot we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend!

This place is a hidden treasure. I loved it and will definitely come back. The waiter was terrific and friendly. Best Pizza in the area and I’ve had them all so I know, pizza is my favorite food. I have been there four times now and not once was I disappointed. Great place .

We went to celebrate a birthday with a reservation for party of 16 people. The atmosphere was great, the food was overall very good. The pasta was so fresh, the salad was very good, but the burgers left a bit to be desired. The service was AWFUL… our waitress had no personality whatsoever, she took the order of one side of the table and then moved to the two tables behind us and took their order before coming back to finish ours, she never came over to check up on us, water glasses were filled once and I’m almost certain I heard her ask my husband once if he needed a soda refill toward the end of the meal. The food took extremely long to come out, 14 of us sat with our plates while waiting for the last two burgers arrive. She barely smiled, very little interaction, no follow up and I was very surprised to see her hair down the entire time.

While this is usually one of my families favorite spots that we frequent, the last few occasions we have eaten here were quite disappointing. Most of our critique is with the wait staff, not the food. We have had the same waitress our last few visits and she was not friendly. She did not offer an introductory pleasantries, she never shares the specials, and she seems slightly ill informed on the menu / classic food. Additionally, she has mixed up orders and does often check-in throughout the course of the meal. While I enjoy the food and cozy atmosphere, the lack of quality service is becoming a deterring factor.

Super quick service, and a pizza that punches above it’s weight. I opted for buffalo mozzarella and the box was empty before I parked my car at the hotel. Tangy sauce, and a well risen cornicione. The closest to Napoli I’ve had in a good while. Will go back to try their Cacio e Pepe next!
